I own about two dozen of them, which I got off Ebay. Some of the prices for the special ones (Halloween, Choco, etc) can be pretty high. My rule is I dont pay more than $10 ($15 with shipping) for 1 plush. The McDonalds plushes are cheaper and might be easier to collect since they often come in lots.

I might have a Shoyru plushie somewhere. But I'm too sentimental & possessive to give it up, unless I were offered an amount well in excess by several orders of magnitude greater than the plushie's sell value.
As in, if you wanted to buy it from me, even knowing you're an /npg/ friend & collector, I'd probably want to be paid enough to be able to buy it or another just like it, & then several more plushies.

I'm very sorry, but that's how I am.

Items on Neopets are a different story, though; As long as they're not exclusives, I happily sell those, oftentimes.


I own a lot of other plushies IRL as well. A very old Pikachu plushie, a very old, worn out Charmander Plushie (Needs repair, but I love it, even if sometimes I think my kid self should've picked Squirtle.), as well as plushies of Eevee, Mew, Keldeo & Sylveon, which are more recent, & which I keep much more secure.


As for buying prices, I'm paranoid, but I'd be wary; If you do wanna be cheap on prices, make sure there's a good supply when searching. In your place, I wouldn't want to choose not to buy an item, only for the seller to disappear off the internet/face of the Earth.

I like Ampharos and its mega and a lot of electric types! Zorua is my 2nd favorite, though.

I'm very glad Blissey and co didn't become fairy type or they would've become even more disgustingly good in battle than they already are. It only took the same type change for Clefable to go from being weak to among the best in the game, and Blissey is already one of the best.

Yeah they do, honestly.
I like to imagine there's one guy at Gamefreak who knows competitive play and has a hand in some of the most busted or minmaxed stuff. Like how Mega Beedrill was absolutely min-maxed to be as good as it reasonably could be. He probably stepped in at the fairy type meeting and put a piece of paper of blissey on the whiteboard knowing how good the type would be and how silly Blissey would be if it were fairy type.
Then there's everyone else who mostly just throw darts at a wall to determine stats but I barely care about competitive any more, too many battles won/lost because of random stuff. When I do battle people it's purely on a casual level with teams I like the look of rather than what I think will work best. I play fighting games for my competitive stuff now.

Looking through the wikipedia page, and skimming some autist's let's play of the game, it's a 3rd-person action adventure game where you play as a petpet and acquire all sorts of equipment and spells and stuff. You raise your stats by paying an entrance fee to challenge enemies in the Battledome, though you can play multiplayer without paying a fee and still get the stats. Supposedly the game was criticized for being too hard when you first start off, and then too easy once you acquire some of the more overpowered weapons.

It actually seems like it might be fairly decent for a Neopets game. I'd normally say "I wonder why I've never heard of it until now", but it's a game on the PSP.

Dang, that sounds fun!! Is it really only on PSP? I have a 3DS, & would LOVE to play it, but my 3DS ain't really fit to pirate-ing or homebrew such; It's on the newest update version.

Still on the subject of licensed games how was the ps2 one? I watched someone play maybe about an hour of it and besides the awkward voice acting it looked like a nice solid game

It wasn't great, but it was good. I played it through a few times. It was basically a "Zelda lite" game with some dungeon crawling, some side quests, and actually a fair bit of open-world exploration. The action is hit-and-miss but the puzzles are pretty good. On the downside, it's a bit glitchy, and once you figure out the trick to it the final boss fight is just pathetic. I'd recommend it to people who already play Neopets but not to people unfamiliar with the site.

Well boys I submitted my 15693 line epic poem about King Altador getting mad at the darkest faerie for stealing his property (an aisha sex slave that he stole from a raid on meridell), and then letting the entire altadorian army get slaughtered, but then when the janitor gets sent in to battle with King Altador's armour he dies and that makes King Altador decide to rejoin the battle and bring victory to Altador.
