you don't understand the value of too tight clothes? It has a few implications that make expansion related work more appealing. A girl getting fatter is always improved by a girl getting fatter as her clothes lag behind.

There is a few reasons this can make sense
As >>8980667 said, one reason is food is a greater priority, this could mean they are obsessed with food more than any other desire in their life, they could also be such a glutton that the time to obtain and wear larger clothes would be too costly and delay from eating.
Another reason could be denial, they don't want to admit they've gained weight and buying bigger clothes would just be too difficult of a reality to face, they'll just keep forcing their outgrown clothes on and try to convince themselves nothing has changed
A second reason relating to gluttony is a lack of noticing or caring. They're so absorbed by their addiction that the feeling of buttons bursting and seams splitting falls on deaf ears as food has their full attention.
One final general reason could be they enjoy it, if the gain was intentional or they've found they like it then knowing their fat is spilling out would be a plus. Either they want to show off how much they've gained or they enjoy seeing their fat destroy clothing that once fit , fabric yielding to the new flesh, they may want to keep wearing clothing until it is in tatters
It's a pretty straight forward concept with many explanations.

Just a couple of things. I'm not a fan of the rumble, but if its necessary, reduce the frames of it. It makes too noticeable the awkward freeze the rest of the body has while the stomach is rumbling.
I also think her belly moves too much now while burping, but it's just me.

Now that I look her final expression, is there a reason for the tired look? I mean, it's pretty satisfying to let out a belch like that.
