It depends on what you actually want out of it. Unless something has changed since I built mine (which admittedly, was like 3 years ago) it isn't abhorrently expensive to get the full map, and at the very least it's an interesting daily.

Well, for what it's worth, it's ONE of those. It's not an actual infinite food supply. That's an Everlasting Apple, which only adds a measly 800K to 1 Million NP to a Moehog Skull's price.


It is an amazing weapon, though.
The only "drawback" is the fact that since it can, & does always freeze your opponent, it has to be Once Per Battle only, & you can't equip other Freezing effect weapons alongside it. Freezing abilities are fine, though.

If it WEREN'T once per battle, it would still be amazing. The Hidden Tower's infamous Anagram Swords each cost 11,000,000 NP before any discounts, around 8,000,000 when trading with users & only do, in icons:
15 of their element, & 1.25 to 9 physical, for an average of 18.34 icons.
And the Ghostkerbomb and Maractite Bomb can only manage 21 to 30 icons, for 25.50 icons.

And none of those freeze.
Not to mention that Air & Dark en masse is hard to block & the fact that not only does the Moehog Skull's 1 hit per battle do those 15 icons, if freezing wasn't guarantee enough for you, it blocks 5 Earth & 5 Dark as well.

Its biggest problem, though, really, is being a Once Per Battle item; In competitive, higher level battles where you need to remove thousands of HP, it may not be worth the slot vs a multi-freezer.


Alternatively, if you want something far cheaper (Even after a Rarity increase that took it out of Wishing Well range.) the Shuriken hits with 2 of every icon type... but it has a 50% chance to Freeze without attacking & then break for the battle.

So yeah, Moehog Skull is spectacular & very good, if expensive & competes a bit for slot in PvsP & such or other top-tier-stat battles that will end up lasting many turns.

His bets will net you a profit. You can definitely make more of a return than he does, but his bets are also safe enough that you're not really risking too much following them.

You can also use DAQtools, but if you don't know anything about FC you might find it a bit intimidating to figure out what settings you want to use.

If you just want quick easy money, then Garet's bets are good.


Also keep in mind if your account is new you will be fairly limited in how much you can actually make. That's not to say you shouldn't bet, you might as well its still quick money, but new accounts start off at having like 50 NP limit on bets so your returns are really limited.

Everyone does. Except their side accounts, as Basic Gift Boxes can't be used to send other BCB. But by sending a GBMC to your side, you can get such boxes on your sides, & use NC gained from making an account to purchase NC Items, like Fortune Cookies.
Then you use the boxes from the GBMC you sent to your side to send the Fortune Cookies or whatever to your end.

Put simply, this sale is a great opportunity to have an item that'll be very useful next time there's another sale like when FQFC were 50 NC each, in that it'll allow you to use NC from your sides to benefit your main, so long as you purchase things when they're cheap.

Arguably a bit rules dubious, but I think it's a nice utility.

sup /npg/, I want to share with you my remaining avatars spreadsheet. TDN's Avatar Checklist Tool says I need 76 avatars that are still obtainable, but as you can see, 11 of the ones it lists as "obtainable" are actually not currently obtainable at all. Some stylistic choice explanations:

- Green means easy, yellow is medium, and read is hard. The level of difficulty correlates to how much effort I need to put into them, whether it be tedium or skill. (I'm really good at flash games, so that's why the game ones are green.)

- The four Shockwave Games I believe are technically obtainable with the right amount of know-how, but I listed them as unobtainable for now because I haven't thoroughly investigated the current situation yet.

- Although some of the expensive items could technically go under Lending Chain, I didn't put them there because item lending chains require collateral, and I ain't about to put money up with a chance of getting fucked over. Plus, with the avatar items you can usually just turn around and get your money right back on the TP.

- The Snow pet and Gruslen one aren't in lending chain because I've been home growing that avatar combo for several months now. If anyone's interested, I'll lend them out after they mature, which will be May 11th.

I picture a non UC option, where it is simply a toggle in the customisation menu.

Want to dress up your grey jubjub? Great, here's a standardised pose. Don't want to? Fine, tick the box and have the old one.

It would kill trading dead. It would stop the idea of breaking into old accounts and stealing the UCs, and selling them on dodgy sites.

It would do something to encourage the return of old users, who were put off by the new art.

Some pets look better post conversion, and dressing up pets is fun.

I'm currently trying to learn to draw, using a SFP4 that I got months ago. Searching for a good program.
I like to think I have decent English skills. I have no testing on it, but I think I have at best, a level 2 understanding of Japanese. Studied Hangul a bit, too.

Desert Scratchcards are a shit.

Yes, they only cost 500 NP (Cheaper than the other kinds.) & can be bought every 4 hours, as opposed to every 6 (ICSC) or 2 (DFSC) hours.) & the images tend to show you what prize you get, but they can't help you gain levels, as they don't award 'em.

Their item prizes & NP reward amounts are based on the rarity of the Scratchcards. I don't know the NP/Item pools exactly, but I question if the rewards outweigh their sell value by enough.

Sell value which is mediocre, as that search shows.

Like DFSC, Desert Scratchcards have 6 card types, but unlike DFSC, they're almost always beaten in sell value by ICSC.

Space Faerie Scratchcards are a reward for being premium. 1 every Friday, they're not items & accessed via Premium Toolbar, so they can't be sold, but supposedly, they can affect your inventory count in weird ways. Some of their prizes (Like a neat Petpet) are retired as of June 2013, too, apparently.
They're irrelevant for level gaining, although a Premium Obelisk boon lets you win more NP scratching them.

Also, Scratch Master Boon means you can ignore Kiosk purchase cooldown times to buy a 2nd Scratchcard before cooldown time kicks in again.
