This wasnt a voluntary thing. The kid most likely was going through puberty and could no longer to the voice.

this is the thing I dont get with western voice actors. I get they want to be authentic with getting kid actors but as soon as they reach a certain age their voice will change and they will have to go through the process of finding another actor really fast that sounds somewhat like the original. It never does. So why not just hire a female actor that can do a young boy's voice? You never have to worry about going through logistics and the hiring process of having to find new actors every season and the voice stays consistent for as long as you need them

I dont know man. I have been in this for a long time and I can see when a show does not do well or not in japan. It gets reflected a lot in the amount of fan art that gets made there. Sure it is probably more popular in the west but the real deal breaker is in japan. It's the same with space dandy. A show that was basically made for the west than it was for japan and to no ones surprise, only appealed to that audience.

That's not a bad assumption. In fact, I only came back to ask how many of us are left with that post, I was long gone.

I remember when I used to be addicted to these threads like meth. I used to literally check these threads on my phone every 5 minutes. Holy shit I loved these threads. I was on them nearly 24/7 with no exaggeration

From April to August, that rush of being on /tlhg/ was something that felt great. No other general could compete. But then, as time progressed, I decided to stop in September. I felt like I was becoming too attached to a children's show. And not only that, but I felt this place was starting to lose its charm

I may no longer have interest in the show or general itself, but I still had an honest to God good time here, a memory that will stick with me for a while. And while we went through some fucking crazy ass arcs and time periods, in the end it was harmless, chaotic fun

I know I know, not my personal blog post - but it's something I wanted to get out of the way
