Dragons are inherently magical creatures. Their seed would most likely be a very interesting ingredient to toy with for the creation of potions, maybe even artifacts. Maybe it could be very addictive too, with an unmistakably spicy, fiery taste. What's /scaly/'s ideal dragon body? You're living in this one, not your waifu/husbando.

My Ideal dragon body would be like #2, but with a shorter neck and longer legs (head stays same height, should be ~5 ft shoulder). Front paws/hands should be around equal to human in terms of function. Unless it ends up looking like I have a deformity, I care more about functionality than looks. Color would probably be a saturated but not obnoxious shade of green, with black details (horns, claws, genitals, fins, ETC). I still want scales, but would want them to be more skin-like in terms of flexibility and sensitivity, I seriously doubt huge plate scales would help anyways against modern weaponry like guns, explosives, and composite crossbows, so I don't think I'll be missing out on anything. I don't want any fins or anything sticking out where it could get in the way, unless it serves a serious function, like tail fins helping with flight. horns would probably be basic, swept-back with a gentle inward curve. nothing too fancy.

Realistically, I'd want #1 so I can continue to fit through doors. Forepaws dexterous enough to operate most things. Maybe plate scales down the front, but reptile scales elsewhere. Relatively plain otherwise, though a couple of horns sweeping back and down would look stunning. Maybe a spade-shaped tail tip.
If reality need not apply at all, imma go for 50' if not larger and start learning how to swallow live, human-sized prey.

Well, honestly the main problem is since 3ds hacking my backlog spiraled out of control. But when I say newer games I mean MOBAshit, Most FPS games, those fucking card games like hearthstone or Gwent, or reboots of series that ended up being fucking terrible, like star fox zero, that fire emblem x SMT abomination, paper mario sticker star or bioshock remastered.

Nobody really knows how conciousness is formed so we can't really decide whether it can be transferred. It's possible that *you* are destroyed when this happens, even if your new body has all of your memories and personality but it's a different person altogether, one who begins a seperate existence at the moment yours ends. (Although the concept of "you" tends to disappear when you really look for it)
If conciousness can be transferred, that means it can be duplicated. Which means you can have the sensation of being in two bodies at once. If this happens, you can safely destroy one of your bodies (the old one) and continue to live in your new body without an interruption in conciousness and therefore existence.
People have interruptions in conciousness every time they fall asleep though. Who's to say you're the same person you were yesterday? Yes you have the same memories but so would a copy of you. It's possible we only exist for each time we're awake and every day we're someone new. Like each day is a new page in the book of your life.

Aw shieet. Alright
(1) First, draw a loong, snaky line representing the spine from the top of the neck to the end of the tail. (It's important not to just whoosh it out without thinking about what goes where. ..Even though it's fun)
(2) Then add an oval where you mean the "shoulders" should be, and another one to likewise roughly delineate the hips. Take care with the shape of this oval, as it will also determine the orientation of the chest and pelvis.
Also, doodle in a triangle or oval to show where the head should be (and where it will be pointing).
(Head tutorial coming up afterwards. - Heads can be complicated, but most often only because people aim too high or overcomplicate things.)
(3) Next, doodle in some circles that show where the actual shoulder and hip joints should be (this helps you a lot with establishing pose and perspective---see how the entire pose suddenly gains depth when making these circles).
I also added a supertiny line to see where I want the underside of the neck to go (ditto with the tail).
(4) Next, you flesh out the limb anatomy. Some people do it by drawing the spoopy skeleton as lines, but I like to super roughly line out the limbs themselves (this is especially helpful when thicccc).
(5) Then, try as well as you can to outline the body contour. (This might take a few tries, but them's good practicins.)
Then there's about a hundred steps of secret gypsy magic (?)
Then you can add wings if you want (and if you remember).
Wings are surprisingly easy when you understand the core anatomy. (If you don't forget them completely, like me...)

This should all be rough sketching. Don't be afraid to make a mess here and scribble lots of crap on top of itself (in fact, it will turn out artsy and cool).
If you feel ashamed when making something bad, don't worry, it's natural. Just don't show it to anyone if you feel like it helps. (You'll get past it.)

Oof, heads are complicated. Lots of style variations and whatnot. What's elementary, is practicing enough to be able to "rotate" your preferred design into the pose/perspective you want.
Other than that, there are two basic dragon head shapes you can play around with: "beak" and "round-nose".
If I'm feeling confident, I usually start with the upper/nasal line. Just as a quick guide. With beaked dragons, you can do a whole lot of fun with this simple line, making jags, spines and angles that can define the whole head (or of course, keep it simple).
Beaked dragons are awkward at certain angles, but only because of the simple lines. (If coloured/shaded, the depth will make it all look a lot better.)
The round- or snek-nose are simpler in form, but because of this the precision of the lines is more important too. (So smooth linework and some retries are warranted.)
With round-noses, I also usually start with the nostrils, actually, and then doodle in ovals for the eyes. Makes it a bit easier to "place" and orient the head.

Bottom-line with heads: Damn, there's really no simple "universal" trick. You're going to have to copy a lot of styles and practice/adopt one you like.
Also, practice with being quick and decisive with the general head-lines, spines and neck. This will lead to smoother lines/curves, and things will look better.

Paws/claws is a tough one. Sadly, there's no universal trick here either..
..except for one that I've found!
I'll get back to that though.
First, decide on what kind of feet you're going for (e.g. "raptor" or "canine" or "humanoid"---it can be any kind of hybrid, of course, but try to decide beforehand. It'll make things more consistent at this stage).
Feet, paws and claws are mostly practice, I'm afraid. Some people have reported that using rl anatomical references help them. but I don't think it's that important unless drawing photorealistically.
Also, remember to CHEAT!
Don't separate the actual claw and toe unless you feel like practicing that specifically (which is fine too). Most artists just schwing out some tight little curls, and there's your toe/claw, looking all pretty.
No hard line discerning between claw and toe is needed when sketching (at least not before colouring, that is!).

This ties in a bit with the universal trick I've discovered, which reaches across all kinds of fingers, claws and toes:
Try to sperg it out and be quick about it. Just-.. don't think too much, and whoosh the claws/fingers down quickly. Chances are the smooth lines will look surprisingly good!
..but if you zoom in and start detailworking every micrometer though, you're going to overthink it, and lose your hair.
Sketching this way creates a nice basis for you to do lineart on afterwards.

Bottom line on feet: sperg it out without thinking, and practice a lot
