That's not terribly uncommon, really. I have a good number of friends who feel the same. You just have to have the confidence and trust in yourself to draw what you like until someone asks you to make something for them. And if no one is, you can either work harder, lower your prices until people feel it's worth it or market yourself better.

I really do think you have a lot of talent, Hollyanon. But if you don't draw, you won't get better at it.

Your art is excellent Holly, what you shouldn't do though, is be afraid of other artists, they should inspire or motivate you to becoming better and to improve as an artist.

Judge your levels as an artist thoroughly before making the choice to accepting money.

I know its also hard to get any practice in due to social or irl stuff going on, when it's possible though, you should give it your all to put the effort into practice, it'll help you grow as a drawer.

I still like your art, even the normal lines are great, when you go all out on a piece it's just adding more and more to the delicacy.

You definitely have the skills to be a good artist, you just have to put the effort into it, other artists aren't meant to be challenges, they're meant to be motivations or support.

I had to ramble because your work is excellent, even back then, it was still good.
Just gotta put the effort into practice if you really don't want to feel mediocre.

And yes. Lapis is godlike in terms of offense. She's what's known as a "glass cannon". She overpowered all of the Crystal Gems easily with a cracked Gem, because she's incredibly strong unless you land a hit on her.
Jasper obviously caught all of the corrupted Gems because she's the only one who would do it.
Jasper was already full retard by the time the time to fight Smoky came. She'd been catching corrupted Gems like crazy and probably hadn't rested for even a moment since Alone at Sea. She only beat Amethyst because Amethyst was too weak to hit her. Jasper wasn't even reacting to her attacks.

Gem's don't need to rest, i mean yes it also contributed to her going insane because the gems (mostly for the comedic moment) are shown to get tired.

Jasper was struggling to hold herself together after all the shit she went through, it was supposed to be a simple mission, escort the drone (Peridot) with Lazuli, after work on the cluster is done possibly attempt to find the rebels, if no luck just return to homeworld.

She was never expecting for Sapphire and Ruby to break free and wreck her shit, Peridot to ditch her.


What she did after that was her fault, she trusted Lazuli enough to fuse with her, or the thirst for revenge was what broke her there, if it wasn't that, it was the fusion rape with Lapis for 9 or so months.

Her PTSD of the war and home "Rose Quartz" didn't even remember her, their diamond or anything is what would unhinge her before she turned.
