Falke here, reshilling TT! Part one of a first chapter of a sci-fi story I want to write. There should be the second part coming ready to complete the chapter this weekend.

But I don't have the time to work on the rest just now, so consider this an early version subject to change/cleaning/more characterization. I'm not sure when I'll have time to finish the rest. Until then, enjoy!

It was the second-biggest station at Jupiter, after the habitats at Europa, but it was mostly science traffic from the insystem side and mining and shipping on the outsystem side. Civil Enforcement had a modest presence to keep an eye on things - a tiny post on the station itself, and a couple wings of pilots.

Most cops didn’t like the duty - Judy included - but Nick found the steady focus enjoyable every time they pulled a detail out here. It would give him some quiet time with his partner, which was always nice.

Thanks. It's really difficult to tell. While there are certain natural traits, advantages and limitations I take in to account, I think the most accurate way correlation between the species and their character is only tangentially related and probably their occupation is more important.

Once I have the addresses and take a look at the map, I get a flash of insight, similar to a feeling "oh right, I know the guy" and the character's biography appears in my mind in its entirety, down to a smallest details and mannerisms despite no previous planning. I don't have the space to include them all, nor are these details relevant to the stories, but it just happens I guess. Sorry if it's not too helpful.
