I think by "When" they didn't mean on the predator's lifetime, I think they meant in what time period. Obviously shock collars are modern devices; at best created a century ago. So there are complete eras spanning that predators simply did not have collars on them to "control" them. What would spur on prey to collar predators after centuries? It would have to be a pretty significant event to warrant that, and I can't think of any situation to justify collaring 10 percent of the population.

Perhaps, but look at our world. People have left their countries for less than this. If I found out that I was to be collared and that my children, their children, and who knows how much more down the line, would be too I would grab my family and get the hell out of there.

Shock Collars just doesn't seem logical unless predators were already slaves, and collars were just the next step in controlling them. At that point, I am pretty sure predators would be escaping or rebelling constantly.

Part of the reason why I like video game music is that each soundtrack is associated with an event or character.
