Besides the derpy models, the only problem I have with Maya is how soft everything looks. Poser gave everything an edge. It looked good for the buildings and weapons.

Except it isn't. Beyond necessary changes from unforeseen circumstances like Whitley needing to be a thing, all the major plot events were already mapped out. Everything about the relics and the 2 brothers has been confirmed to be around since the start and most other things have their own foreshadowing, like Salem's existence and Ren and Nora's backstory

The problem is twofold.

One, poser models don't always migrate over to maya very well, at least not without a fuckton of work (see the boob slider issue for example)

2nd, some of the poser rigs were so old (Adam's for example) that they simply didn't have any facial movement rigs setup for them. Several of the models had to essentially be rebuilt due to their age and whatnot.

Nah I don't think so. Miles Kerry and Gray were tweeting constantly in the build up to Volume 4 how much writing/worldbuilding they had to do and how terrified (legit, Miles tweeted openly about this) they were about plot holes and threads left unresolved.

I honestly think Monty at best had a framework: characters, world, dust types etc but as far as an overarching story past volume 3? I doubt it.

Especially when you factor in the admission by Gray where they said Volumes 1-3 was supposed to be 1 "season", and how Monty didn't storyboard or plan things much beyond fight scripting, you can see why Miles kerry and Gray are under so much pressure to write stuff for RWBY. Probably also explains why Miles stopped working on RVB and handed it to someone else.

I don't bully. It's plausible that they could transfer Pyrrha's soul from Ruby into a robot to bring her back to life. We know a similar technology exists in Remnant even if it's still experimental. If they explain that Penny was born via a soul transfer it does hint that RT are heading for that to happen with Pyrrha. Pyrrha being a robot would be interesting because it would make her question her destiny, what is life, how she would cope being a living soul inside a lifeless, robot body.

Remember when Cardin shoved Jaune into a rocket locker and sent it away? They specifically added that scene to show that people could fly inside the lockers and survive the trip, because that's what Pyrrha did to Jaune at the end of volume 3.
