Agreed. Looking at the pic again, personally, I think the butt should be a bit smaller, not so close to the size for her belly, and her rear legs should look more bloated as well like her forelegs.

Had a great idea right as I was falling asleep last night, and wanted to write it down here to hopefully convert it into a decent amount of text later.

I have successfully finished the outline, which is far more than I've managed to do since early December. Looking good so far, and feeling good about the story itself. The outline alone is 1.5k, which has some entire conversations summarized as >Dialogue, all of ember's monologues summarized as >rant, and the two sex scenes summarized as >sexytime and >rape.png. Once its fully expanded it should be around as long as Hail to the Queen. I'm aiming for the same or better quality as that one as well. I feel like the quality of my writing peaked there and has been downhill since.

Anyways, to get back on to puffy things, have a fat pooltoy gryphon getting warm and squishy in the shower. I do recommend having a nice warm shower with a pooltoy sometime, if you have a small inflatable like a TF2 Balloonicorn those are great fun to bring along with you. Small size makes it easier to handle when pressing it's puffy muzzle against your bare business and pretending it's the pastel-colored pone of your choosing.

Yeah, fuck all artists for drawing any OCs whatsoever in any given situation, they give absolutely nothing to the community and should only stick to drawing characters from the show instead. They ruin everything and are exactly why this community is dying out so rapidly. /s

Artists without shame who'll draw any eyecancer OCs for the right price aren't the best folk, but don't dump all artists who'll draw OCs in commissions as money-grubbing whores. At least some of 'em do have standards. Hell, even in the given pic, the OC in question isn't the worst I've seen.

Theoretically good OC is possible. A decent inflation related example has been Winterlight. I'm not into male stuff so it doesn't really do anything for me, but there's nothing wrong with winterlight from a design standpoint. He looks like someone who could have been pulled out of the background of a manehattan scene.

Not OP, but between the reasonable color palate and simple cutie mark, she seems alright at face value. The bow in the hair and lighter wing feathers might be a little bit on the 'special snowflake' side of things, and the tail colors are a little on the nose with the coffee tip, but it's alright otherwise. I'd give her a solid 8/10 for design.

Not as good. The earth tone palate actually works against her as it's rarer on mares, though not unheard of. The alternate colored wing tips are something not yet seen in canon, and stand out in a bad way. The mane and tail's coloration is also a point off, unless she actively dyes it, as the divisions fall into the standard oc issue of "that's not how hair works". The last bit is the Cutie Mark. Objects directly tied to the pony's talent are rare, especially if the object is non-naturally occurring. Almost every instance of a pony-made object being a cutiemark in canon has been played off as a joke or was on a joke character.

I'm not saying it's painful to look at, but there's problems with the character design.

Agreed. I'm an author, not an artist, but if someone offers me money to write about xxEdgeLord420xx (the red-and-black alicorn of swank) getting inflated, I'll take it in a heartbeat. I'll do what I can to make the OC less embarrassing (give them an actual personality, maybe make them the story's butt monkey) but I'm not in a position where I can just turn down easy money like that.

Besides, in the grand scheme of "embarrassing shit the fandom has done", eye-searing OCs barely register.

If you don't want artists/authors to make stuff about embarrassing OCs, give them a positive incentive not to. Commission them to draw/write about canon characters.

Creators gotta support themselves somehow, and for the right price anyone'll do anything. Hell, if someone threw sixty bucks at me in exchange for drawing their hyper-darkness red/black alicorn OC with a rainbow mane, shattered horn, and robotic bat wings with a hose up their butt, I'd at least have a go at it. Sixty bucks is sixty bucks.

Beyond that, even some OCs can be reasonable and cute to puff up every now and again. Give 'em a workable personality or an interesting/exploitable quirk, don't be OTT about it, and it ain't hurting anyone. A hard-helmet diving pegasus, for example.

Methinks a big issue in some cases is people forcing interaction between their OCs and canon characters, it rarely works out well in prolonged scenes with direct interaction.

I can honestly agree to that. Some ocs are fun to mess with while some are um.. maybe you should touch them with 100 mile pole. Money is money, artist gotta pay the bills and food for themselves.
The way I see it, Ocs that tend to have simple designs, like ones that doesn't force them to stand out, are more favored and respected. Yeah, that's a big place many fail at. The few times I've drawn mine or others' characters interacting with canon ones are only in passing, buying some fuel-grade cider from them or getting starstruck when bumping into them, for example. Don't presume to speak for me. I've been around, having been into this fetish for the better part of a decade and a half by now. Cooling periods like this are necessary. This is one of the things I was worried about when I committed to writing the second Chryssi story. Three popping greens in a row is a bit much, and with how little new content we get, it isn't hard to reinforce the current theme of discussion. Inflatechan. We all want inflatechan back, even the people who joined in after it collapsed. It's the answer to so many problems.

The best advice I can give is to try to mentally disentangle popping from snuff. They are marshmallow ponies after all, a day or two in Ponyville General and a comically sized bandage should be all that's needed to get them back on their feet. This is one of the reasons I always dislike seeing gore or blood posted here, even though I often enjoy the material. Noob writefag here. I've been struggling to write stories of my own so I asked for ideas on requests to write a short-green, hoping writing other people's requests and ideas will get me motivated. That did not prevail. I am going to have to call those requests off because I have the absolute worst mindset of motivation. Although, it's been months, no one would really care about it. I mean, yes, it would be nice to for people to see new content from people they are not familiar with, and it would be good for me to contribute to it, but that's not the case. My point is, my motivation to write stories and greens, even short ones to help me get into the habit, is just absolutely terrible. There must be someway, somehow, something for me to get around this.

Okay. So here is a small blurb I want to try to give an idea for >>8762183 which is one of my favourite images of Mane-iac. Who knows, maybe in the future this could develop into my dream of a good Mane-iac inflation/stuffing story to be written.

As they all try to figure out what to do with her Fili Second manages to get her hooves on the tendril-maned villain and begins filling her up with some of delicious ingredients for fun, the same ingredients she uses in the sweets she attacks baddies with. Furious, the Power Ponies continue to quarrel over what is the best solution, all the while briefly forgetting about the Mane-iac as the crazed mare blows up as a heavy balloon, her body billowing rounder and higher with sweet, delicious ingredients, her size destroying her latex outfit in all areas, praying the Power Ponies notice her nearing her limits.

Is Twi drinking up from the water balloon she's laying on top of? 'cos I've got a few things like that.

Forgive the OCs, but the idea of someone laying on top a massive pooltoy to deflate it only to have a hose with one end plugged in the valve and the other slipped in their mouth or rear is pretty unf too. Their own weight's making them swell up as it forces the air out of the toy.

I might do it. Since this idea is already going to be done in your Starlight story I'll think of something else. I have the tendency to think of intricate commission ideas. Before then, I have to develop my motivation and writing.

Another blurb idea.
>The florist mares, Lily Valley, Daisy and Roseluck, are busy selling their collection and stock of gorgeous looking flora to the ponies at the market. While working a bunch of beautiful blue roses are dropped off by a delivery pony. During their five minute break, the trio examine the new arrive of their stock, one by one getting a good smell of the bunch. Unbeknownst to the group of friends and sales partners they all get a patch of dark blue on their muzzles, not noticing until the last of the trio get to smell the roses. Havoc ensures as the blue patch spreads across Lily, Daisy and Roseluck's bodies, slowly transforming into giant, heavy blueberries in front of the entire market.

If you're referring to >>8813013 , I think it's supposed to be present day. Artist just forgot to draw Scootaloo's wings (or maybe that's Archer instead?) and I don't know who the pegasus sitting on the ground is supposed to be.

The artist clarified at some point. It was originally going to be AB bouncing and Scootaloo on the ground, but realized it would be better the other way around. He swapped the two's mane styles but forgot to swap who had wings.

Commissioner here, actually the 3 in the pic were supposed to be Sweetie, Dinky, and Ruby because I wanted it to seem like it was happening in front of the whole class and not just the CMC but I think envy got confused and I was just pleased with how FS turned out that I didn't press on it b/c I didn't think it mattered.

Even for a mare like Mocha, whom I predict has a high-tolerable coffee intake, would go hyperactive when being inflated with such high intake of caffeine.
