Before we begin there is a mechanic I was about to introduce before Eventide was cut short of its run and it was the Pact/ Covenant system.


When you meet some folk in your journey (that isn't trying to kill you) you can befriend them which will aid you in your own travels throughout New Yohan.

These "friends" can be summoned any time via the summoning object which you've been imbued with each other.
Same goes for you so make sure you help them out too!

For single individuals you form PACTS ( A unique bond shared between two individuals, promised to help each other in their adventures)


Note that if you form a pact/ covenant with someone at odds with the other they may leave your pact.

--[Mist Step] : A defensive maneuver. Upon being engaged by an enemy, Izuna prepares to drop a smoke bomb on her feet, evading the attack and retaliates if the enemy is close.

[ Dance of Death ]: Taught by the elder spirits of the Tennin Swamp, Izuna conjures 8 spectral daggers to hurl with blinding speed at enemies in the vicinity. She may choose to throw her two physical daggers as well to apply two stacks of bleed.

Once you got that settled (and a few other ones lying on the ground courtesy of Jazz rummaging), you turn off the light and head downstairs to make some snacks.

Well, it used to be great because we had so many active quests that there was always a struggle for time. Not like, actual fighting, but all the writers were too afraid to step on anyone's toes. The surplus meant that we quested almost non-stop, so the thread never had a chance to die.

Now, what few quests remain either don't run, or run so infrequently that there's nothing else to do but bump the thread. Is it the surplus of writers that started the ocho craze that fractured the player bases and lead to a drop off of voters and thus disinterest from the writers that's to blame? Possibly, but even the quests that didn't go to ocho have either died or been put on life support.

Personally, I think it's just a natural progression of things. Nothing lasts forever. The only reason RWBYg even sticks around is because they know another seasons coming. Sure, all they can do is stew in their own shit in the mean time, and more and more oldfags will leave, but with RWBY's broad appeal, they'll always have fresh blood to keep them going. And BB.

We don't really have that, because we were made in response to a need. But now the only ones who cared are moving on, and RWBYg filled that hole with rampant shitposting. They wouldn't /want/ us back now. They're beyond having writefags now.
