Eh. Chief Wilde is mostly your average grizzled veteran. You could write something more unique with him definitely but the way it is now is not really Nick. It's like Ageswap AU somewhat, except from the few fics Ageswap at least it tries to keep both origin and personalities still with a bit of the original character. Chief Wilde, whenever shown is just a sad "oh my wife died on duty" every given moment to the point where it becomes comedic, and when not of that people just go for some bitter veteran checklist to write him.

First off, I'm sadposting, so feel free to chalk anything I say as "anon's being irrational and lazy" After all, every second I spend complaining that I'm bad is another second that I'm not getting better.

On to the actual point: every author has a name and an OC self-insert. These threads have been fairly good on the "OCs never interacting with canon characters, and if they do it's more to develop the canon character rather than the OC." Despite this, I can't help but feel a gut-reaction whenever I see one of them roleplaying out any scenario, be it funny or sexual or otherwise.

I went to take a nap, and when I woke up a lot of people were talking about my stuff. I was originally just going to answer an unrelated question, but I also wanted to say thank you for all the kind words, and that while I'm sorry some people don't enjoy what I do, I'm glad it doesn't seem to get in their way of enjoying the thread either, at least I hope it doesn't.

I also genuinely enjoy discussing things and interacting with people. When I'm not talking about my own projects publicly, I'm usually talking about other fandom works or movie/world stuff anonymously. I find the best time for me to post is during dead hours, as I'm still awake and I don't risk flooding the thread during active talking times.

Regardless, thank you for the kind words and honest opinions.

College student that decided to start drawing on /trash/ after feeling inspired by a lot of great artists for a long time. I know my art isn't great, but I'm hoping to improve as much as I can for all the people in these threads. I've been seriously trying to draw for just over a month now--everything before that was just half-hearted doodles.

I think I found /trash/ Halloween of 2016, but I knew about 4chan for a long time. I just never bothered delving beyond /co/ or some of the other boards, which I had been on for a few years.

I collaborated with Highland Cow, and the dude was super nice. He gave me a ton of tips while we were drawing together, even while he was drawing his own part of the piece. I hope to be as dedicated as him one day.
As for other content creators, I've actually gotten in touch a lot of them off of 4chan, and they've all been very welcoming and helpful. I've talked with AnotherKnight a ton, and we've had a great time trying to help each other improve for the thread.

The chalk drawing I did of Nick and Judy for Valentine's day. I know it only took a couple of seconds and wasn't even that detailed, but I liked how simple it was. I would say all of my drawings have been fun to make because I learn a ton with each one. And I love requests! I'll try to draw as many as I can, and I encourage people to ask for whatever they want within reason, like OC's.

I'm the usual Japanese to English translator for these threads, though not the only one. I distinctly remember two others; one of which was honestly better in my opinion (They did NeNe's comic about wedding arrangements), but I don't know where they went. I've currently translated roughly 450 individual pages of content for these threads, though.

College student that only got into writing his freshman year, so I've got a lot of ground to make up, but I have fun with what I'm doing. I fell in love with writing after taking a class in magical realism/surrealism. The work was so different than anything I'd ever read, and it was instantly sucked into the world of writing. I try to bring something different to the table with each piece. All of my writing is influenced by who I'm reading at the moment, which ends up working against me more than not.

>Who are you? What should we know about you and your work?
I'm High Cow, and i picked /ztg/ as the place to start drawing. My main focus is to give content, improve, and have fun while i'm here. My work is mostly focused on anatomy and dynamic, but my plan is to learn more about comic design, background, make collabs, everything. Already did a collab with P&P, and looking foward to work with other people, especially writers.

As a lurker, may 2016. As a poster and drawer, january 16, 2017. I watched the movie, and came for different reasons. My first days were when the "parties" came upon /ztg/. Mayhem and chaos, good memories . But i was losing interest after a couple months, and i was going to leave this general with no posts, no contacts, nothing. Like i never existed.

>What got you started drawing in the threads?
I was starting a new life this year, and i needed to decide if Zootopia was part of my past or my present. Staying behind the shadows, like a ghost, wasn't an option this time. So i rolled a zoosona, installed an drawing app in my phone, drawn my highland cow and presented myself with a draw. Looking at people like Fanart, creating content and improving, was my motivation to start, talking with others CCs is my motivation to keep improving.

>Did you roll for your cow, or pick yourself? Is your cow a representation of you, or their own autonomous mammal?
Yes, i rolled, and in the last re-roll i got a highland cow. And the CC name came out from there too. He was supposed to be a representation of myself, but i finally decided to give him his own path. As a creator, my work shouldn't be a mirror, but a door, to know, learn, chat and enjoy. So no, he's just he highland cow, who's high and has a good time here.

>What is your favorite piece you've drawn? Which was the most fun to make? Do you take requests, and if so what do you look for from anons?
My favorite piece is my medieval TT submission. It was my first proper work, and i got the help from great people. I did that pic for two weeks, redrawing and asking for feedback, until i finally did something decent. That pic is half-me, half-ztg. That's why i love it.

My most fun pic is a current project i'm making, a compilation of every cc in "high cow style". Started as one pic, but i'm going big now.

I take requests, but between studies, future job, learning how to draw, and practicing, i'm not taking requests lately. First GIT GUD, then requests. I would like to have requests focused on my current subject, anatomy/dynamic

My favorite: Camping/Wilderness, so much comfy, and i had the chance to make a pic for Famished, a great guy.
I'm hoping to see wrestling and of course, psychedelic TT (I'll go crazy on that)

Not really CCs or AUs, but I feel some topics with a lot of potential have been overlooked. Political posters (whether in-universe or adaptations of real ones), preydom, and most of all, religion and mythology. I've been thinking up a portrait of the Lion and the Lamb in Renaissance style, with the symbolism and motifs and all, tho proper execution would require a commission.

I'm definitely overreacting and building it up larger in my head, but it still scares the hell out of me.

For a real answer, I'd say just do what you love consistently and. Just do it for yourself, and if it's sincere then hopefully you'll get noticed.
