I just found that story and read it; I have very mixed feelings about it. Sure, Judy mentions at the beginning at how the wolf is bigger, but it isn't too constant never gets to the point that she goes that the wolf is better than Nick. There never seems to be a time where anyone thinks "Nick is the lesser lover", other than perhaps Nick produces less cum at the beginning. Though the OC female bunny seems to have no problems getting off with Nick. Also I kind of wave off their characters in it because, really, it is pure smut plain and simple.

The actual "This is what we call Night howlers" story though is a mess most of the time.

Especially because I have to say that the personalitys of the Shorty Squad (+Caitlin) is really well made.
The syle you write your storys is also new to me I have to say. Most of the storys I have read until now where on FF.net or AO3 and well, there was no bold text that told you who is now speaking, but I say I appreciate that, you never loose sight who is talking now (which I have to admit happends me too often)
Of course I can't forget the plot, I kind of understand both. Percy want to be a good brother and probably wants to protect his little sister as long as possible

I'm not particularly good at writing prose, so this format seemed like the best one for me to use, especially since I'm more familiar and comfortable with a script format. Plus I still wanted a visual story, and I figured since I normally do comics a script format would lend itself to that as well.

That's one half of the scenario, yes. Percy is definitely playing the role of the careful big brother, and there's a number of reasons for that.

Just like there are reasons he doesn't want her guilting him or pushing him around.

still the case, as for your first point it's not about the size of the community

While we might not be able to recreate the fleeting warmth of the April threads because we've grown and matured as a community, we can still make this place comfy and fun - it costs nothing to be nice and anons are generally extremely receptive to examples, both good or bad.

In reality, all it takes is just 2-3 anons per timezone with similar mindset to facilitate specific behaviours and customs so they sink in and become acceptable.

You know, I feel we've grown a little harsher than we used to, while still secretly longing for old, naive and sunnier days.

It doesn't take much effort to make them reality if you just try.

I had a similar feeling myself when I first arrived, granted I didn't begin posting until September. Everyone was so kind and inviting, the wildehopps discussion felt fresh to me, and I would often partake in worldbuilding and character discussion anonymously.

Even if the direction has changed a bit, for the most part the feeling hasn't changed. I don't even feel upset when people complain too much about how 'uncomfy' it is because I never feel it.

Again though, I haven't been here as long. I hope that even if you can't capture that magic again, you can find a different kind of magic with what we have.
