I think this is mostly true. I don't think that the "craving for struggle" is accurate, I would more describe it as nature trying its best to fuck with people's minds for population control. Of course, human progress has gone so far that the self unaware degenerates cannot fully go through with the distorted mental impulses, and instead leads to said impulses being fostered instead of eliminated as they should.

Of course, while you could say that the formation of these mental malfunctions is natural, that does not equate to it being a good thing. And human progress elevating us to slightly above mere animal isn't automatically a good thing, either.

Humanity has become so coddled that it is unaware of the dangers that the world and themselves have.
