She is also probably to be the most moral character of the bunch and she managed to be that while living with Eric!

Kat and Natani is nice for fapping but as an actual ship it doesn't make much sense and would be a bad fit, especially because Nat is already involved with Keith and already has an interesting and engaging relationship with him.

If Natani started fooling around with Kat it would come across to me as a regression for her character. She is learning to embrace her feminine side with Keith, whereas with Kat it would come across as kind of a last ditch effort to play the part of a guy.

The interest between the two characters seems to be entirely one-sided from Kat, because Kat is emotionally needy and in an emotionally vulnerable state due to her problems with Eric.

I kind of doubt that the amulet has anything to do with Clovis switching gender, unless it's a mana battery since Clovis uses magic to maintain whatever charm spells are preventing her secret from being found out.

And that's just it, too-- I don't think that magic that can actually change someone's gender is all that common. Nora is essentially a goddess and has powers far beyond those of mortal mages, so permanently changing Clovis wasn't difficult for her, and a temporary illusion spell like she used on Mike is basically a party gag. Using regular magic a mage can conjure up a convincing disguise like Clovis and Natani have, but not actually physically change their sex.

If the amulet is something relating to Clovis keeping her sex a secret, then it seems a bit redundant since she already uses magic for that, and if it's a magical sex-changing plot device then Tom has basically opened up pandora's box for reasons I don't need to describe.

I think it's probably just a magical artifact that Clovis needs for some grand scheme, but what said scheme is we don't really know.

In general I hate it when time travel gets introduced into a story because it fucks everything up so bad. Stories that are deliberately about time travel from the getgo are fine, but I feel like it's the final destination for when the writers run out of ideas for ongoing works.
