>>8370245
Welcome to the waking hours bunner!
Possibly an unpopular opinion but I appreciate the Tiger Oil comic for illustrating through showing rather than telling why a relationship with Remmy and Pandora could never work out. The way she treats him is practied, professional, and detached, even perfunctory. She treats him like an aimless child who can't help himself, and in many ways, that's what he is. Even if they were capable of having a mutually-fulfilling sexual encounter (which I doubt, especially looking at how this one's going) I seriously can't see any love or romance happening between them. Remmy is just too pathetic and she's too refined. They go together like oil and water.
>tfw I typed Betty and Pandora the first time instead of Remmy and Pandora

Not that anon but Remmy is pretty fucking pathetic. And I'm not just talking in the tiger oil comic.
>>8370268
This, Remmy is too pathetic and is practically an aimless child, he needs someone like Betty who is also pathetic and acts like his mother.
>>8370268
>>8370374
I just love how people adore Ozzy, Charlie and other pathetic characters.
Always come up with something like "He is traumatized! Do not hurt his smile. She had a harsh childhood...probably? You cannot blame her she is cute. Ozzy had a hard life! He is misunderstood!"
And then we go to Remmy who clearly had some harsh past himself "Nope, fucking pathetic child. He is worthless and should be left alone because that is what he deserves."
>>8370420
>>8370414
Well I like all of them.
Probably because I'm a rather forgiving and gullible person.
Everyone has problems, nobody is perfect and therefore everyone of those Guys on Pack Street is Okay.
>>8370407
>using this as an excuse for sheepdog
Absolutely disgusting.
>>8370414
Everyone on Pack Street has a hint of pathetic in their life. But they still go on and that's what makes this fic so attractive to me.

Remmy is acting pathetically around her. And yes, I realize it's partially because he's basically intoxicated, but this is painful to watch. He's falling all over her and groping like a blind fish. He might as well be mewling out the name of some high school crush. I'm half-expecting her to tuck him into bed with his little blankie and a glass of warm milk when this is over. He's needy and clingy. This is not a mutual or even enjoyable hookup. She's practically disgusted.
>>8370414
>And then we go to Remmy who clearly had some harsh past himself "Nope, fucking pathetic child. He is worthless and should be left alone because that is what he deserves."
When Ozzy starts clumsily groping on Betty and whining "baby wants to fuck! baby wants to fuuuuck!" then maybe you'll have a fair comparison.
Bear in mind though that this is entirely a critique on Remmy as he appears in a non-canon comic. In his canon encounters with Pandora he was very composed and sometimes almost suave, but it was an act of confidence and canon or not I think we can see pretty well what he's really like when the walls are down.

Why are you even following PS then?
>>8370504
>>Eh...no?
>>8370498
Man, he is basicly drugged.
Why are you judging a character who is drugged with aphrodisiac.
>>8370508
Because it's fun and it triggers Remmyfags
>>8370508
It's only an aphrodisiac to predators, sweetheart.
>>8370508
>Man, he is basicly drugged.
Which makes Pandora a fucking rapist. I hope the comic ends with Remmy pressing charges and her going to jail.
>>8370515
The truth is, Remmy is probably just sitting in some dark corner is Zootopia and slowly dying because it's winter.
Pack Street and the residents are all just imaginations of people Remmy wished to knew.
(Parody about all of those dark theorys that make me rel tired.)
>>8370407
>>8370487
>>8370498
Someone doesn't get a really basic fetish apparently. I'd kill to be so horny that some older, experienced, caring woman would lay back and let me do my thing.
Plus I'm pretty damn sure she's getting her own fun out of it too, especially judging from the last page, so even better.
>>8370515
She's a rapist for laying back and letting him fuck a toy she put against her own body? She's giving him the view, not the actual ride dumbass.
>>8370530
Maybe she should have left the room so he could take care of it on his own instead of taking advantage of a drugged friend.
>>8370527
>>8370530
Not that guy, but can I just say it's pretty fucking hot that she's doing it in such an intimate way? Like she could've just tossed him the toy and said "here, knock yourself out" but the way she's got him lying against her and letting him thrust like they were doing it for real is a really bizarre kind of comfy.

Remmy is one of the most relatable characters I know of.
But he is better than me.
>>8371014
>>8371642
i think it's a sign of a good character that people of different backgrounds/genders of a character can see themselves in those characters.
>>8371625
Remmy's fine most of the time. Wasn't really into the 'joining the pack 'deal because I felt like it sort of missed the point of Zootopia and felt too feral for the setting, but for the most part the grouchy little ram's fine.
>>8371599
that sounds useful, could you post it?
>>8371652
Borba already said he takes the film as a representation of humans and that there would be no genetic difference so hybrids are fair games (iirc he said so in his Judy breastfeeding art). That said, it's still a comic that has good art, so bracing for something really fucking dumb (we still have 22 pages to go and the title is "I will survive, and Judy already told Nick she's pregnant) is advisable like with every detailed art Zootopia comic. Doubly so because Borba already made some pretty meh plotwise comics.
Honestly if you're mad about the way Tiger Oil is playing out it's because you're self inserting as Remmy and you really want to fuck Dora

While I don't necessarily agree with your reasons I think people are kinda being anal about it.
He's drugged up with an overly-large dose of a potentially aphrodisiac drug being a total predophile already.
Of course he's going to be stupid horny, you think he's gonna whip out some fucking spreadsheets and tell Dora all the reasons she's hot or something?

>>8371925
Yea, but now that I know it's out there, I do want it.
>>8371874
Oh, I knew there was one I forgot. I think it was Weaver who dismantled that one perfectly - inasmuch as there was a coherent "story" to that failed concept to begin with, it blew out both its own kneecaps when it decided to introduce the zombie conspiracy as explanation for collars and segregation.
Any kind of meaningful character growth or recognition of their own biases and prejudice got totally handwaved away. "Oh, it's not your fault, you don't have to improve as a person or even confront your own flaws. It's the shadow illuminati's fault, just blame them and keep your own head in the sand."
To say nothing of the weird SJW tilt/pansexual nonsense.
>>8371874
Not that anon but the point was also specifically about "detailed art" Zootopia comics, which Zistopia is arguable.
But with that comic, I believe Weaver explained what was wrong with it on a fundamental level; where as Zootopia's message is that we are all responsible for bias and prejudice, and need to make a conscious effort to better ourselves, Zistopia is basically "Oh, it is all the fault of evil politicians and business figures, without them the world would be a happy place!"
This is not including the random moments of sexual identification that the comic slams into our faces.
>>8371881
If I remember correctly, Mead didn't work closely with WriteAnon for JiD, but is now for WutBurrow.

I can't think of any specific pairings, but a writer I would like to see their work turned into comic form is hannahberrie.

Most of their works are generally cute/pretty in character. Their college AU is good, and chapter 17 of their one-shot collection "Change Starts with Us" ( http://archiveofourown.org/works/6720649/chapters/17003298 ) is still one of my favorite one-shots of all time.

>>8373054
because of the sheer number of writers in general, and statistics holds that most of them must be bad.
>>8373054
Because writing takes a lot of practice, just like any form of art.
Making any mistake detracts a lot from the piece as a whole, and people usually give up on reading your stuff after seeing a few grammatical issues. Once you get past that, it falls upon sentence structure and word choice. If the writing is boring, people are going to drop it quickly.
And then there's making the story in general--making sure you have a good plot and good characters and then putting them in the right situation.
But what I think gets people the most is the lack of experience. It's a lot easier to write what you know, and when you're young, you haven't experienced a lot of things. That's why it's easy to have an idea, but hard to put it on the page.

>>8372675
More actual police stories would be great. Nick and Judy solving crimes and running the daily beat. Zootopia's such a solid cop movie on top of everything else, it's a shame I don't see a ton of stuff that explores that angle.
>>8373763
I think a lot of people just don't know how to write cops. It's hard with so many facts about the correct codes etc that people will call you out on.
>>8373054
Writing is harder than people think. It's an art like everything else, and one people kind of deride and underestimate these days.
Fanfiction's a great way to practice, actually.
>>8373504
Finish the f(etish)
>>8373781
This, I'd prefer writing whodunnit with clueless characters than with Judy and Nick.
>>8373763
I think the big problem there is that people don't actually know much about cops or their procedure. I for one would love to be able to write a solid cop story about them but I don't have even a fraction of the knowledge I'd need to do so, probably.
>>8373713

>>8373783
This.
People expect way too much from fic authors, and I always get sad when people force others to quit.
>>8373724
Who?
>>8373804
Something that you can lay down on that would make it look similar to riding a motorcycle--leaning forward, ass presented, legs dangling off the side, spasming uselessly in the air as the lion cums after being fucked over and over.
>>8373761
Cute lewds are the fucking greatest
>>8373840
So the same pose then. Suspended by its shoulders and hips, arms tied behind back and legs frog-tied apart. Can swing or turn the centrepiece freely. After all, for the rich it's all about presentation.
>>8373802
I mean it's a fantasy setting; Nick and Judy already get around cop stuff a lot in the movie. It's fairly easy to research the codes you need; WoD has a book about the basics you need to make cops at least sound like cops, which is all you really need. People have more suspension of disbelief than you'd think-just look at cop shows, which are usually wildly inaccurate about actual police procedure for the sake of a good story
>>8373804
Could be both, actually. Different situations call for flexibility.
>>8373460
Hey, I didn't make it, I just posted it.
>>8373715
I am of the same opinion concerning anything non-WildeHopps, at least if the pairing is the priority. If the story is about Nick's angst because of "abloo abloo can't have bun", then alright; I'll still hate the story and everything, but at least it chooses to point out "Hey, this is the theme of the story, not specifically the non-WildeHopps pairing."
Probably repeated myself a dozen times on this, but this is my main issue with Judeon; those stories tend to be less about Judy and Gideon and more of "FUCK YOU WILDEHOPPS!"
>>8373721
I thank you for translating that awful handwriting and apologize on the same verse. Granted that comic is obvious even without the translation, because fuck Nick right?
We must have sad fox who can't have bun; we can't have a fox who isn't interested in Judy/interested in other females/maybe just too burnt out on relationships in general by now.
>>8373732
It really is, along with everyone stays in-character; Judy is cheerful but playfully puts her foot down when Nick acts silly, Nick isn't lazy but likes fooling around a bit, he didn't freak out on Gideon while also trying to one-up him (which I can totally see him doing), and Stu was a real treat. You can see him struggling a bit with his previous views, trusting and going with Judy's judgement as well as being a fun father.
Also the Afterward 2 of the comic made me tear up a bit.
>>8373875
Exactly.
One person might come up and just lick his feet while masturbating, or another might eat out his ass after some mammals have gone a couple rounds.
Even though I don't particularly enjoy all these fetishes, it's more about the control they have over him to do whatever.
Show me the dick, /ztg/
>>8373901
Would this group of jet-set fetishists only have one piece of entertainment? More than one and it could easily turn into a no-holds barred orgy, but they'd probably want to maintain some semblance of class, like a party. Hors d'oeuvres, music, fancy dress, and if you feel like it you can step up onto the dais and relieve your erection/live out a fetish on the entertainment.
>>8373907
All about the control. Bonus points if the guy/girl doing it is poor and being paid very little for their time as the entertainment.

For the concept being discussed here, it'll take the route of hedonism. Although kept mammals is alluring, it's more high maintenance than would be expected.

>i wonder why people like to write so Nick poorly
I feel like people either misinterpret or simply forget Nick and Judy's personalities in the movie.
Nick was a con-man; he had to be able to play on people's emotions, and thus know how to read them. He also had to be able to keep his emotions in check when faced with prejudice. The only times he completely lost his cool was either in a life or death situation (Mr. Big, Manchas) and at the press conference, when he thought Judy believed in him. Sure he was annoyed throughout the movie, but he kept his wits about him while at times being silly (finding the Jerry Vole CDs, touching Bellwether's hair). So it makes no sense if suddenly, when he becomes a cop of all things, he is whiny, can't control his emotions, a pissant jealous teenager, etc. Maybe he doesn't know how to deal with certain emotions that well, but he should be able to control himself.
Judy, on the other hand, doesn't seem to really KNOW how to talk to people. She is kind, energetic, and doesn't mean to hurt anyone. However she doesn't seem to think too far into the future before she acts, either vocally (saying she will take the Otterton case when she is already in hot water with her boss) or physically (Mr. Big, THE FUCKING TRAIN CART). She wears her heart on a sleeve; that isn't completely bad as you tend to know she is genuine, but she also doesn't seem to have a filter.

>Do you have a Zoosona?
Yup.
>If you have one how did you create it?
Rolled for it. He lives in Sahara Square but I got a free choice for where he works; so I decided that a big cat like him wouldn't really like the heat of Sahara Square that much and specifically chose a job that helps him avoid it, so I made him a bartender at Riverside, right next to the water, and he works through the hottest part of the day.
>What kind of Zoosona is it?
A jaguar.

So the title is "Kill 6 billbion demons"
But hte characters are demons
So maybe the deomns to them, are actually us, humans
We are their demons, and there are 6bil of them
So like maybe in Demon culture the key to paradise would be removing all the humans who hold them at bay, ergo kill 6bil demons

Nick effectively sleeping with a taser under his pillow seems... very out of character.
I know there's any number of more valid things to criticize about this, but the fact that it's there at all - and rendered so lovingly - suggests to me we can just expect more of the same. When the guns are the most detailed thing in the scene that's when I drop the story.

>We can't have a fox who isn't interested in Judy/interested in other females/maybe just too burnt out on relationships.
Lets see if I can do a thing.
>Nick has lost all interest in romance, after being bitten far many times in the past. He has a career he loves, a friendship that he never thought possible with Judy, and he is respected now, and can do something GOOD in the world now.
>It didn't take him long to understand the types of looks Judy gave him though, whenever they were alone and on the job. The look of pure affection towards him is something Best Friends wouldn't give each other.
>He knows what's coming and doesn't know if he should be the one to let her down first or let her say it first.
>His indecision leads to Judy going first. Just another night of them hanging out in one of theirs apartment.
>She finally tells him that she likes him, possibly even loves him, and she wants nothing more to date him. To see where they can go.
>He lets her down as gently as he can. She's shocked, and saddened, possibly even tries and eek out a "real" reason for his refusal.
>There is enough reason's after all; family, work, public image, species.
>But he doesn't care about them, nor would he ever. He just doesn't see here romantically.
>She's sad, but understands. Lets it go. He can tell she wants to cry, but doesn't. He already knows that when she is alone in her apartment is where she will let tears fall.
>He doesn't stop her from going home early.
>Time passes, be it weeks or month's. It's rough at the start, Judy tries to act like nothing has changed. Nick does to. But he still shows her, that he is still there for her and that he will give her all the time see needs.
>She doesn't try and leap into the arms of another buck. She won't use someone to consul the hurt, she wanted it with Nick.
>She wanted to be happy with Nick, and only with him. She believes that only through romance can she really make him happy and be happy in return.

I have to econd that and to Agree
To make a great comic that is supposed to tell a great story it needs both, good writing and good drawing. Half and Half.
If the drawing is good but the writing bad people will stop reading the story because they become desinterested, it dosen't matter if because of too much gramatical errors or because the plot/choice of words is boring, people will stop reading it.
If the drawing is bad but the writing good it goes the same train, except that people are with the drawings more patinece that with the writing since most of them know that drawing is hard, So the Viewer will wait and see if the Art is coing to go better in the future.
To create a great Story you have to be a good Writer
To creat a great drawing you need to be a good Artists
To create a great Comic you need both this aspects.

>It isn't there. It's just gone, and she can't explain it. Why it left her now. Her day starts with a hop in her step, where she used to drag her feet.
>She looks in the mirror just before she brushes her teeth, and the frown she is expecting, isn't there. An honest smile is on her muzzle now, no false bravado nor is it even fake anymore.
>Her eyes that had always had tear tracks once she awakes, are dry now. Her body feels light and ready to take on the world.
>She feels truly happy, the same joy she always felt, before she opened her mouth and told Nick everything. And when she lost it, when her world started to crash down around her.
>A smile showing clear self-derision, reflects on the mirror now. She has been such an idiot for so long.
>She finishes getting ready for work, and proudly pins her badge, right where it belongs. One last look at her reflection, a salute to herself, and she leaves her place.
>She arrives at her entrance and finds Nick standing there, coffee cup in each of his paws. She gives him a radiant smile and thanks him for it, as she takes hers from him.
>A wide-eyed look of disbelief shows for just a moment, before understanding and a sigh wipes it off of his face. She won't tell him that his poker face has been getting worse.
>They start to walk and talk, as they head to the subway station. Where conversations used to be disjointed, silent, or just awkward. Now it's filled with laughter, playful pushes, and they just can't stop talking.
>Just like it had always should have been.
>Yes, she had been an idiot. Even if she can't "have" him the way she wants him. The way she used to want him. It's different now.
>She needs to make it up to Nick, for putting up with her childish behavior for so long, once their day is done.
