Even if Dragon Masquerade completely fucks up the continuity ten times worse than its already fucked up

According to Nora and others in the main comic Saria died 4 or 5 years ago (Nora said 5 outright when giving Trace his own backstory, Red alluded to 4)

Currently Natani's is 13 meaning she'd only be 8 years old during Dragon Masquerade (that makes her a loli is a sexy dress in that story not that Tom would ever admit it)
Rose is close to 29! (again due to the fucked up continuity and Toms inability to do simple fucking math) meaning she'd be 24 during the Dragon Masquerade yet instead of looking old as dirt she looked the same as she did 14 years earlier with a single streak of grey hair

Furthermore Natani and Zen shouldn't have even been there.

With Saria being alive, the story being set before Trace and her were even married that 2 continuity destroyign things

1. Natani and Zen should still be living happily in their village with their parents, not out playing thieves

2. Natani shouldn't be transgendered (or openly transgendered) yet since she only started that when Zen wanted to Join the guild and Natani wanted to follow which is when Zen (and maybe even Natani) got the first inkling Natani preferred to be seen as a boy. Even if it wasn't for Natani, she wasn't doing it openly yet.

The only time she had an excuse to kill Trace was when he beserked on the Basitin Isles and lets face it with Trace killing all the templar students and a high templar like they were nothing, Basitin soldiers with ease and using their corpses as literal meat shields against the King who he also appeared to have no difficulty with.... The worst pain also comes from those you love.

As much as Keith cares for Natani, her killing Trace wouldn't be something I couldn't see him forgiving her for. While he'd probably somehow blame himself for it I don't think he'd wallow in self pity over it either.

Next to Natani, Trace is Keith's best friend and more than that Keith cares about Flora even if she annoys him. With Trace gone and him maybe feeling responsible he'd probably feel obligated to stick with Flora and keep her and Trace's child safe from harm both out of that sense of obligation and to honor his friends memory. In that he'd have purpose as opposed to feeling he had nothing.

Natani on the otherhand, even if he loves her, he'd probably never be able to look at her again not only because she would have betrayed Trace but she would have betrayed him in the worst way possible short of her killing him instead.

When faced with getting his life back at the cost of killing a friend, with all his instincts driving him to go through with it, he instead choose to throw it all away for his friend. Natani would be in a similar situation and if she chose the job or revenge over their friends life, Keith would immediately think he made the wrong decision; both in not killing her and for letting himself care about her.

Doesn't mean he'd stop caring, I don't think they'd fight. I think he'd tell her to leave and never return. They'd be done both as friends or anything more.

Natani must realize all this, and what she'd be throwing away if she goes through the with job. That's not even arguing all the other shit she'd be throwing away besides Keith.

It's a delicate needle to thread, to be sure. I think Natani has started to see Trace as a different person, though, and while perhaps she hasn't exactly forgiven him, she's willing to give him a chance and move on.

If Trace were to become evil again though, that is where I could see things getting all kinds of fucked up. Especially if Natani kills him with justification, but Keith thinks that they should have tried to save him. That could and likely would drive them apart even if Trace needed to be stopped.

I don't know if Tom is going to send the story down that path though. He seems to be moving a bit away from the edgy grimdark stuff from the early years of the comic and more towards something a bit happier and more optimistic, but that's just my take.

Looks good save for a few criticisms

Toe configuration is wrong being in a sloping arrangement rather than having two elongated middle toes with shorter toes to either side. It'd be fine if Clovis walked on the balls of her feet most of the day, but since she walks on her toes instead such an arrangement would basically destroy her ability to make balanced steps without having painfully compensate

Ankle is inverted and ungodly thick above the joints

The foot is bent beyond bounds the musculature would allow... but then again maybe that's why it looks so swollen she has a torn foot.

Tail base is wrong, remember that the tail is part of the spine, it doesn't grow out of it like a tree branch

And finally Curve on the upper potions breast is wrong unless its cube shaped

If I had the time or java programming skill I'd make a corruption of champions/Trials in Tainted Space style game set in the Two Kinds universe only not so sex oriented (cept maybe as a silly mode like in both games where you can fuck everything with a pulse rather then focus on the story).

You'd start as human but could change your species through magic, though it'd influence your affinity with certain factions

Instead of food or potions causing transformations you'd need to see mages or collect artifacts, or find somebody like Euchre who is skilled in perfect transformation who could train you to change at will if your intelligence/magic stat is high enough.

I'd probably have a morality system like Tits though where you can either work towards peace and being an okay guy or embrace the war and become a total asshole.

You could become a solider, mage, templar, assassin, or even slave (like in Coc just without the sex cept in silly mode)

Race selection sure as that could could easily be simplified so there would be very little needing to be changed save some tweaks to their backstory (Like Keidran starting as freed slaves so basically starting with a human culture or Basitins starting as exhiles), or recollection and additude.

Choosing a faction? That would require a complicated web of intro stories which would probably take as long to write as the game itself.

Is Trace and Flora's baby really going to be a hybrid though, or will it be a tiger keidran with traits from both parents? In fantasy settings the convention usually follows that a child will always be the same species as the mother since all the potential hybrid types turns into a big mess in most instances.

They are two different species, talking about dominant and recessive traits is practically nonsensical since the offspring would only inherent one allele of a gene from either parent and if one of those parents doesn't have that gene then it doesn't matter if its a dominant or recessive allele it simply won't present as it requires two alleles (at least one dominant) to activate. In short it doesn't matter what they inherit from either Trace or Flora, for all intents and purposes it'd be recessive ie not present itself.

However inheriting half a gene can still result in unique traits but that's going into non-Mendelian inheritance which would take forever to explain.

Suffice it say, you couldn't expect traits from one parent to present itself in the offspring if the other parent doesn't have a form of that same trait but you can expect unique traits to arise. (Mind you this usually limited to single cell organisms and a very very few kinds of plants)

Why are we even talking genetics? Flora is a Cat and Trace is a Human, genetically they are probably very very VERY distant and so shouldn't be able to breed at all so why care about dominant and recessive traits? Genetically the fact Flora is pregnant with Trace's baby is fucking magic.

In a fantasy setting, mating between species is pretty much always handwaved with magic. If a race is intelligent or of a certain phenotype interbreeding is possible. Even with that in mind, hybrids are usually considered a can of worms and most writers avoid them.

Half-Gnolls are my favorite hybrid since they still look like Gnolls (well most of the time), still ripped but not as stocky full Gnolls, and not as psychotic. Sadly most are the result of rape and hated by both races and those which weren't weren't the result of rape are still hated. Still they are sexy beasts if they inherited the right traits from their Gnoll parent and are less likely to try and eat you after sex
