What the hell happened with e621? I have a hover image view extension, and I use that often to see if a post is worth opening in a new tab (usually to go to the artist's page). Now all of the sudden, the tags, score, rating, etc. pop up in a white box that is placed in front of the image on my screen that I'm viewing with the image hover extension.

I know it was a bit wordy, but anybody who has a hover image viewer extension can check right now and see for themselves. How the fuck do I fix this?

They changed their site code, I think, so that by mousing over, they can see the tags. It's probably on a higher, "layer," than your hover-over image viewer. I'm pretty sure that there isn't really a fix, unless you know code well enough to go in and look at how both the site's and the extension's code works, and then raise the image view up over the tags.

Now that I think about it, if you have an account, there may be a way to turn off the hover-over tags in your account settings? I have no idea, I don't have an account on there, but it may be worth a look.

It's very rare that an adverb needs to be there.

I wouldn't say remove them entirely, but there are ways you can cut down, it's a matter of recognizing what doesn't really need to be there to get the point across. Sometimes it's just finding the right word to describe what's going on.

It could work in first person depending on what you're writing about. But you can still achieve that emotional connection you're looking for in past tense as well.
I know you're going for first person but there's still things you can do like

>"I feel like fucking that thicc kobold bitch senseless" he mumbled to himself
or
>"Oh fuck, no! stop! I can't take the knot!" she continued to scream, as he kept treating her like his own personal fleshlight.

Both examples use first person dialogue and give enough information to go off of, but are still written in past tense.

It's good that you're getting advice about it. I remember I posted a story one time some anon wouldn't even critique it because it was in past tense.
But you might not need to translate everything just yet, do what I do and at least get a general idea of how the scene plays out, then translate it if you feel like it, otherwise it's just a fuck-ton of revisions and editing and that shit is annoying as fuck.

Bedokaan are the lizards from Arcanum. Two meter tall alligator things in all colours of the rainbow. They have nature magic and doesn't afraid of anything, but are absurdly hard to find unless someone tells you where to look.
