But apparently it's much easier on medium.

Anyway, if you can go quickly enough on the first two stages, the third stage will definitely get you past Chadley's score.
Like, roughly 150 points each for the first two.

I still don't really understand the rules of the game, but I did it! I don't understand why it sometimes lets you isolate tiles by themselves and why it doesn't at other times, though.

Actually, in my experience, there is a SLIGHT benefit to getting blasted with your pet's health at 0 aside, obvious chance at getting that elusive Snowager Avatar aside.

Don't quote me, but if I recall my experiences right, when a 0 HP pet gets blasted, it is actually possible for the blast to end up putting their HP at ONE.


So technically, IF my memory is right, getting blasted can, very situationally.... HEAL YOU.

Don't quote me, but of the very few testers for the new Seeking Arrow Battledome Weapon Item Abigail's Team Daily Dare Team Challenge gives out to you, the stats seem to be....

5 Physical, 5 Earth, 5 Dark, One Use.

Meaning it disappears after you use it, forever. You know, despite being a limited supply event challenge prizes.
Physical & Earth are easy icons to block, especially together. Mass Dark, less so, & Dark & Earth are an uncommon icon attacking combination that's somewhat uncommon to be blocked, also, IIRC.


Put simply, the Seeking Arrow is a SHIT weapon.

Not counting the literal One-Of-A-Kind Darigan Sword of Death, the only weapon with a similar icon spread to the Seeking Arrow, & the only weapon which you can realistically hope to obtain & use without stealing something from a 1-P Battledome Challenger & then give back to them at the end of the Battle, as per Battledome rules is....

Likely banned in PvsP Battledome Leagues for the 5% Disease Chance, & last sold in a user shop, apparently for around 69,900 NP, a Poison Muffin, while Rarity 99, & thus, stupidly rare, is still not finite in supply, & thus better, even with the situational banning.


....Not to mention there are several other Battle Muffins that are dirt cheap & can do 15 icons of damage as One Use Weapons, & are much more plentiful.


TL;DR - Seeking Arrow Battledome Weapon is shit. One Use 15 icon weapon with a rare yet mediocre icon combination, & finite, super limited supply, high price, & being matched by cheap & expensive Battle Muffins alike makes it not worth using.


If you were considering doing Abigail's Team Challenge for it today, or just buying Seeking Arrow, don't.
Just do Chadley's Challenge.

Welp, another new Battledome Weapon, and it's... decent, I guess?

Air is hard to block, especially en masse, & 6 icons is nice, & 3 Water is okay....
But 9 icons, while a good beginner weapon, can be easily outclassed.

Things like Ridiculously Heavy Battle Hammer, Scroll of Ultranova, Multi Barbed Ice Spear, Yooyu Knuckle Dusters, Turned Tooth, & probably other weapons are all reasonably priced for the effectiveness, & have just as many icons, if not more, albeit, with different icon distribution.


Maybe get it if it ends up cheap & you start Battledoming, but there's probably better options, & it's not worth doing Abigail's Challenge for, IMHO.

How do you even play in the battle arena?
99.5% of all times when I am in a fight I cannot choose any items although they are all equiped.
There's just a green bar when I click on the space.

For one I know that there is supposed to be shit, for the other part every once in a while my items are actually there.

You don't have to visit the Healing Springs.
Heck, feeding your pets actual food items can heal them, so you could just give them Jelly or Omelettes if you're so desperate for HP.

Also, you should visit the Healing Springs regularly.
Aside from being able to keep your Battle pet from going too hungry to fight -"PETNAME regains their hitpoints, and is not hungry anymore!"- the Healing Springs can also reward you with Healing Potions, 4 of which can only be obtained or bought there.

So visiting the Healing Springs could help you make some profit, if you don't mind selling Healing Potions!

Cookies are just a food item, & exclusive. They might eventually be valuable, but you can always get +2 DEF from other sources.

You can buy the Cookies later, too, though. And being that they're just a 1-use Baked Category food item, AFAIK, & plenty of people will probably know that, I doubt they'll end up in short supply.

Here's what I would do:

Acknowledge that it is paying adults that is keeping your entire operation afloat right now, and cater to them.

The fact is, kids just aren't interested in things like Neopets anymore, and they never will be again. This was a novelty 10-15 years ago, now it's a relic of a bygone era, just like LiveJournal, Myspace, Maddox, all those old internet things.

So let the nostalgic adults and furries have their fun, they're the ones paying you. Make the site 18+, open the boards up to ERP and all the other degenerate stuff the furries want, allow us to form real communities with other adults on the site so we don't have to do it elsewhere.

That alone would bring SO many people back. After that it's about recouping your losses, getting back to making a profit and then working on more art, more plots, redesigning site pages to be more AJAX-y, etc. This worked for Runescape; you have Runescape 2007 which is going strong off of purely nostalgia alone. This could work for Neopets as well.

Now, assuming you do plan to fight him.... What species is your pet? There are a variety of options for blocking Air & Dark, some better or worse than others, & some species exclusive.

First off, the Metallic Sun Staff, while normally inferior to the Ancient Negg Amulet -Earth is considered a better icon-type to attack with than Light, AFAIK, but neither is spectacular- is decent here.

It blocks 3 icons of Air & Dark, & attacks with 3 icons of Light; The Black Pteri has means that can block Earth, but not Light (Thyora's Tear & Shade can, but the former blocks all icons, & the latter blocks randomly.) icons.

Both are incredibly cheap.

Most of the rest of the equipment there cares about pet species, & some of it cares about intelligence, so that'd be good to know, possibly along with your set.

Yeah, seems like good weapons, & not entirely sure if it's worth switching out your main constants.

But then again, Pteri's equipment CAN randomly block Wind, & Earth, which your equipment definitely uses, & Supersize Gargantuplex is mediocre (Physical only, 3 on attack, 2.333 on defense.) but it can still do some blocking, even with Black Pteri's Easy Mode 2.5 Multiplier.
Considering your stats are supposedly below 85, your Strength multiplier is 2.0.

Combined with Throw Pillows, Thyora's Tear & Shade, I can see why he'd block a lot of your attacks.

Started following the Neodaq bets when my return on investment with Garet dropped to like 1.82:1 or so. It's dead easy to bet using Daq, it basically places the bets for you and you just need to press the button,but the bets are high-risk and high-reward so you tank more often than not, meaning you already need a pretty big bankroll to cover a potential losses.

If you've got a big enough savings to take a bunch of tanks in a row, then the really big wins that you do get will more than make up for it.
