I wrote the Bombshell x Mae fic. Overall I liked it. I do wish I'd had more buildup really, but the fic was already long as hell and I'm not great at writing foreplay. I'm not too great at writing sex either but I think it works.

I'm a sucker for MaeBea, be it acting like sisters or going a romantic route. The night of the "Proximity" feels early in my head for any romance or thinking about sticking together; though Mae has her own thoughts about just simply living together with another woman explained out loud while Mae sits on the bridge "conversing" with Rabies. And based on description, Bea fits that idea pretty well.
And if something romantic happens while out of Possum Springs that is positive, it can be a happy memory.

The Lori idea could be fun if you are a horror movie aficionado yourself and can write Lori's parts accordingly. I'm also imaging that she channels Mae's attitude and tries to get off using the tracks vibration while the train approaches. She's small enough to go unnoticed so the horn probably wouldn't even sound and her body could blend into the tracks while she plays chicken.

I'd help to see if she only took to it as a release to all the tension she is feeling. But now it's too ingrained to help and is just a natural thing because of the way her life turned out.

So yes I would help her try and attain her dream as best as possible so she can stop worrying so much and maybe cut back and eventually stop smoking.

Or I'd have it so a fic would have Mae get into trouble and Bea can't act too quickly or with enough strength due to her lifestyle so Mae gets hurt and Bea blames herself and tries to see if she quit smoking to improve her breathing so she can be healthier.

Going off of dialogue at the end: Beatrice.

Night in the Woods center in Possum Springs what with the intro with Mae telling us that it's surrounded by woods, and she's still stuck there due to her commitments to the store.

Bea also says at the end that she had a dream that the world was ending, which is the mundane for Night in the Woods character dialogue but still foreboding coming off of what just happened in the old mines.

Bea still has baggage with her family and isn't up and leaving it like Greg and Angus.

Since Mae might have trouble leaving or doing too much since she would be relying on her parents who have their house in dire straits with the bank, funding is limited. And since Mae and Bea have a proximity thing going on, interactions could be varied based on how close people are between the two of them.

Here's a description from reddit describing the contents of the kickstarter zine.

>Not a whole lot. It's very thin and is only about 20 pages total. It's made by a bunch of artists doing usually a page or two of art for the game. Some are little comics that tell a story, others are just art of the characters humanized. Back during the game's development, when there was like next to nothing known/out about the game (this was before even Lost Constellation) it felt like a big deal, but now that the game is out, I don't feel like you're missing out too much by not having the zine. Some of it doesn't quite mesh with the final game, for example. But here is a basic rundown of what it is:

>-Opens with a college school assignment by Mae with her professor's edits/comments in pen. This first one goes into a bit of the history of Possum Springs (most of the information is in the HarFest scene). There's a story about mining strikes and how they would hang their boss (story in the game with the tooth and other strikes works better). It mentions a hotel in town that isn't really in the final game. Talks about Little Joe, etc. It is basically just setting things up that are further elaborated on in the game.

>-Next bit is comic that details a Gregg/Mae story. If you did his final hangout you'll remember a part where Mae asks if Gregg remembers the time they set the school on fire. This is that story fleshed out more.

>-Next bit is a two page thing on Bea which, imo, is the most beautiful part of the zine. It's hard to describe but it's basically just a thing about her feelings of hopelessness of graduating highschool but being stuck in the woods.

Gregg actually has to tactically figure out a way to put Angus' hat back on in the middle of sex if it falls off because Angus is just absolutely destroying Gregg beyond recognition. Afterwards if you visit the friend while sitting on the bridge once the path to the right of Mae's house is done with construction, then Mae reveals this to the friend.

Mae still gets to be a kid at heart playing video games. Since Mae really doesn't want kids, how do you think she would react if she did get knocked up one day? I don't think she's the type who would get an abortion, but she would probably be pretty freaked out about it. She doesn't seem to like babies in general, but I wonder if she'd also be afraid of it having the same mental issues that she does.

I think she definitely wouldn't have the shape problem with her baby. The problem manifests if she's in an unfamiliar location with unfamiliar people. His style never got better, his animations are of the same quality as years ago. Nowadays there are much, much better animations by much better artists - Imagine what 2 grand from someone like Fuzzamorous would get you, a several minute-long hand drawn frame-by-frame animation.
