I think some people were suspicious after all the "clever" insults and retorts were being thrown around, but after he came back from traveling and Osmosis immediately came out after Gravesly posted it then became clear. After getting called out he basically disappeared forever.
He's now resting with Hade's in schemer's hell, which is probably for the best. God knows what kind of attentionwhores both of them would have became.

Ships are dead. Nobody wants to have meaningful interactions or hype up anything.
The proms weren't interesting because of the game that was hosted, but the hype that people created around it by actually RPing to get a pair for their characters.
new prom would just end up like Homecoming did, with two or three interesting ships and no RP around the event at all.
It isn't a bad idea to try to actually host an event game like that, but I don't think at the moment anything interesting could come out of it.
Check it Senpai.

Ah! So that was the reason behind your pushy attitude there! For a second I thought you just wanted to get rid of the hero boy, but this is also good!
>>8134878
>But would that require people to enter? It seems like something I'd just plan ahead of time on my own and then post.
>>8134911
>>8134913
I did want to get rid of the hero boy. I also wanted to get rid of you, but my chance didn't show itself until now. For shame on you for letting me one-up you. I thought you were smarter than this.
>>8134869
That's basically what it is. Half the fun with proms back then was the people making it fun with what they posted, but we are not the same we used to be.
>>8134911
My, my, it seems like today I'm easier to manipulate than a young child, but it's fine! Being the puppet dragged around by the strings, instead of being the puppeteer was surprisingly entertaining!
>>8134911
Bullseye! Congratulations Senpai! You are the champion of the Tower of Barbs, but it doesn't end there. Now you just have to defend your spot from the hundreds of psychotic bloodthirsty climbers! Rest well, you've earned it!
>>8134940
Here are your stats. See how well you did!
Thanks for climbing!
>>8134940
Never doubt a man that says he'll get revenge. I'm sorry, but it had to be done. Surely you understand.
>>8134940
Congrats to the winner, and thanks for hosting!
>>8134917
>depends on how you want to set it up. These are just basic ideas you can use how ever you see fit.
>I do kind of miss rolling for game entries though...
>>8134945
thanks mang
>>8134945
Congrats, and thanks for hosting.
>>8134945
Thanks for hosting, and congratulations to the winner.
>>8134930
>It can be the same as it used to be. People just have to want it back, and try to get it back. I'm not a miracle worker by any means, but I can certainly be a helper.
>>8134940
Yes, yes, congratulations.
>>8134945
I suppose I should thank you.
>>8134953
>I still have to think about all this. My number one priority right now is having a finished code I'm comfortable with and can expand on.
>>8134946
>>8134945
You had what it took to go all the way. Congratulations and thanks to our host for the game.
>>8134945
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to prove my survival skills, host. Life sure love taking me for a wild ride with these games.
>>8134945
Thank you for hosting, and congrats, winner.
>>8134926
Ohh, I can assure you that I am smarter than to be manipulated in such ways in normal situations, but it's different here. Usually I'm the kind of man who prefers to win a fight before the thought of conflict appears in the head of my opponent.
But letting things happen based on nothing but luck and raw strength, like it does in the Arena has its own charm! Ahaha
>>8134926
>>8134945
Anyway, let me congratulate you! It's only fitting that the one who was able to trick the great Moriarty would end up being the victor!
>>8134945
Thank you for the game!
>>8134970
I told you, didn't I? I'm not as cold-hearted as I look.
>>8134948

>>8134984
You're all far too kind~
>>8134988
Luck is tricky, isn't it? It gets in the way of people with true skill, making them look dumb compared to whoever lady luck favors.
Don't worry, what happened, happened. I won't hold it over you forever. I'm sure you had your own strategy and it took a turn for the worst. Next time you'll get it for sure.
>>8134969
>these are just small ideas to help you get going. Lookin forwatd to more of your games, special or not
>>8134969
Yeah, but that's not going to happen. If you're hosting a special game do it for the fun we can gather in today's HG instead of trying to revive old glory. I know you can atleast succeed with the former.
>>8135006
Fuhaha! What a kind young man you are, but you have nothing to worry about, my friend! A true mastermind enjoys every part of scheming!
If my plan goes as planned, it's perfect! But if the plan fails at one point, it's even better than perfect! That means things will get even more interesting!
And having a chance to find out what was wrong with it is just the icing on the cake!
>>8135047
Shouldn't a true mastermind plan for every occasion? You've got a few years on me, so I would think you'd have multiple routes you would like to take with this place...that is, assuming you came here for a specific reason.
>>8135029
But it was fun because it was new. Just because we see it as reviving old glory does not mean new avafags will. They will see something new, and quite possibly fun. It also doesn't have to be an autistic ship forcing game like Hoshi's games
Plus, it's not Hoshi hosting it, so alot of older avafags may enjoy it too.
>>8135067
>The old man shakes his head in a disapproving manner as a wide smile appears on his face
Not at all! Basking in the glory of victory is something that I'd let you, youngsters experience! After all, winning a game wouldn't help me in any way, and I don't think it could help with my sore hips.
It wouldn't help with my sore hips, right? Right?
>>8135112
I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. I've had my victories. One too many, actually. Despite my confidence back there, I would rather not kill others. The thing is, to survive you have to talk big. Nasty words are necessary if you surround yourself with numerous big bads.
I wouldn't know what's good for your hips and what's not. I haven't experienced hip problems with the people I interact with. My guess is it would, but there's nothing a heating pad won't fix.
When you get the good lewds on discord.
It ain't bad for everything.
>>8135078
I don't think many "oldfags" really give a shit about that
>>8134945
Thanks for hosting uncle.
Pats on the back all around
>>8135078
That's why I told Asgore to consider the newfags and try to give us a fun time instead of trying to bring the hype of the past like he suggested we should do. Nobody cares about ships today so that's not even something worth mentioning.
>>8135155
More did than you think. Alot of them tried derailing his games anon posting, while acting normal responding with their avas.
>>8135152
Ah! I see! Well, it's obvious that trying to intimidate others could work well in there, but I don't think that I'll need to utilize such tactics, because I don't intend to win! Aha!
But thank you for your advice! I doubt that I'll ever get bored of this place! It feels like an endless circle of destruction and carnage, so it's the perfect place for an evil mastermind!
And if ever get bored of it, I can always just blow it up! Ahaha! By the way, that's not a joke! Fuhahaha~
>>8135180
There's always Suz and Ahri. I think that's the only one people care about.
>>8135224
I like Suz but Ahri is too generic.
Can somebody make a new thread so I can start a game? I'm unable to make new threads on this board.
>>8135224
I was just thinking about Suz and Ahri as well, but besides those two I don't see anyone else trying that much. Then again there's a lot of avafag activity I don't really pay attention to.
>>8135180
You yave a valid point on the shipping. I only mentioned that part because that was the goal behind Hoshi's proms.
As for your other point, I did not say to focus on old glory over entertaining newfags, just that old avafags may enjoy such a game if it was a diff host.
Hoshi had quite a few good ideas, as well as great events. Problem was, Hoshi drew too much hate and shitposting torwards himself. None of that matters to newfags though.
Abd I agree, we should be trying to entertain everyone. Not just a select group.
>>8135250
Why can you not make new threadsm
