The headsets come off – I never realized how badly I was sweating beneath mine – and we file out into the tree line towards the facility. It looks rudimentary; the email did mention it was modular. They must be constructing a framework, a skeleton of sorts upon which they can build something more permanent. Right now it looks like a collection of building blocks, simply cube after identical cube lined up next to the other around the anomaly.

>My heart skips several beats when I see a pair of security personnel jog out to meet us, but their posture is relaxed, almost bored. They cast an uninterested glance at our faux prisoners – honestly, what? A bipedal fox and rabbit wearing clothing and they couldn’t care less? What other nonsense have they seen? – and ask for our IDs, which they scan with a portable reader. They then wordlessly take point ahead of us and lead us into the facility.

For real though, love your stuff. Reading something that details the culture shock of a Zootopian experiencing human culture hits so many of my buttons, and the fact that it's written well and doesn't give me second-hand autism is a huge plus. Sad to see that it ending soon.

I went to bed as soon as I posted it, so I missed the subsequent conversation. Having caught up with it, I must admit it left me a little baffled on account of bitterness and certain anons expressing they felt left out.

As much as I'd love to include absolutely everyone, I used ztg cc list as the main source for references, supported by my (poor) memory and archives.

I've been browsing these threads for quite a while, but you will probably appreciate the thought it's rather challenging to keep up with all the OCs, particularly of those who used the roller once - often anonymously - and never brought the OC up again. After repeated calls to update the list I figured the ones missing either don't have OC or don't care to be included considering all it takes is to fill in 4-5 excel cells. Well, anyway! I'm delighted to see new entries popped up yesterday, so here's new heads

This chapter was a hell of a dozy, and I honestly can't freaking wait for the last chapter to see how it all ended for everyone. I am actually torn about how the humans stayed (the heresy!), though they would have most likely ended up in the same situation as Nick and Judy otherwise.

Also I could practically see what was no doubt a shit-eating grin on Howard's face at certain times.

It's a reversal of the human in zootopia trope like you've noticed, but instead of Judy running willy-nilly about Earth making friends (which is usually what humans in zootopia do, coincidentally) she's instead found and taken in by a supranational/black site-esque research team.

The story follows her stay on a nearly day-by-day basis, with each chapter split into individual weeks.

It's presented as a series of audio logs made by the head researcher, as he tries to learn more about her, her world, and how she came here, while along the way exposing her to various bits of human culture and society.

Things take a sharp turn towards the end, and there's still one chapter left.
