TTG isn't even that bad a show. It's just CNfags needing a new scapegoat for other shows like Steven Universe or Adventure Time not getting enough airtime just like Johnny Test was years ago except its nowhere near that bad, as well as butthurt Teen Titans nostalgiababbies. It's just a raw comedy show that kids really like. I've watched a few episodes and was okay with it, it can be funny it can also be annoying, not particularly interested in it since I hate capeshit as a whole.

Why do you people keep thinking that lewds are all we want, when some of the most popular fics since the early days of the general are actually not lewd.

Look... people like lewd and it gets some more attention, yes, but sex sells in EVERYTHING.
For whatever reason, it's natural for people to forget about all the factors involved in an equation and just look at the thing that strikes out the most - in our case, if you don't get attention for your non-lewd fic you blame it on people only caring about lewd, not considering all the factors that would result in someone reading it and they are quite a few: do they have time, do they have some interest in the fic's premise or motivation/incentive to go look for it, do they read fics in the first place, do they know it even exists etc.

There's also the issue that if you get some replies to it, but only a few, you'd take it as a "That's it? guess people aren't interested in this". You can't be blamed for that though because it's something people tend to do all over the world but, again as I've stated above you also forget about all the factors involved.

There can be multiple reasons. I'm not gonna say that some people here aren't assholes that just shitpost, but writing is more than just grammar so not everybody here can give details on a more "professional" level and tell you how to improve.

All the CCs, writers or artists, that left aren't even one bit obligated to stay here and make stuff for us and they left cause they couldn't take the bullshit. But there are some of us that actually enjoy their work and WOULD help them get better IF we knew how and what pointers to give them.
I, for one, tried to help a few whenever they asked but I could only tell them about some grammar stuff, how it would look better formatted to me(i don't even know if there's a particular word for that), and punctuation. Did I even give them objectively correct pointers? I don't know.

Why do they make content?
Is it just to make it big and have everybody talk about it... Of course anybody would like that but is it just that?
Or do they also do it for their hobby and to enrich this little fandom?
They're free to leave if they feel their work is not getting enough attention and criticism but maybe this isn't always the place to look for that. I have seen quite a few threads in all my months where genuinely had discussions about art and writing, ignored shitposters and helped everybody improve

If you're (anybody bothering to read this) a CC maybe give this little cesspool a shot and you'll see that it's not all that bad if you know who's shitposting and learn to ignore them. You can leave, like others, but people will only get sad about the less content. The only reason people were a bit iffed about the whole "exclusive content" was because they felt mocked when it turned out some CCs that were part of this general lied about it - or at least it looked like they did - and some had some level of trust in them, but a the end of the day nobody blamed them and just let it go

CCs who "left" won't be gone forever. In comparison to the rest of the time we have left here, this place is pretty much still in its infancy. Doesn't it make since for writers who wrote up to 20 fics over the last few months to take a break and come back a few months later.

I've talked with a lot of people who are taking breaks, and the idea of writing still obviously crosses their mind. If a CC hasn't updated in three months, they may just be taking a break. Not everyone can dedicate all their free time to writing. If that were the case, I'd have 100 fics by the end of this summer like I planned to. Thank god I never tried that.
