Yeah, I was planning to write a version for Pastebin specifically and then one for Archive of Our Own, but internet trouble and realizing that the time was counting down for being on time for TT has weighed on me.
Is there anything that you'd tweak otherwise?

If zootopia is a city where anyone can be anything, why would any of them choose to be gay?

Reading now
>your father works hard to put grass on the table
Hah, this made me laugh.
Between line 149 to line 312, and 327 through 356, and a few later on, there's some wordwrapping issues, nothing major, just figured I'd mention them.
Overall, I really like it. It's a really good depiction of inner city life from the perspective of the somewhat privileged as friends with the less privileged.
You can see the tensions already forming, from her resentment of them swiping her cash, but also her desire to fit in more than anything else. But the whole microaggressions thing, she's constantly reminded she's other. Having to play down her likes and aptitudes for fear of rejection.
Even when they defend her, there's the hint of it being because she's their "outsider." To be a target for them, and no one else.
It's really good, and more than a little sad. But that only enhances the quality.

Reshilling for the new thread, it's the latest episode of Shadowbun! Thematic Thursday submission, and slightly more interesting to read than last thread's /pol/ spam!
Shadowbun: New School, Same Hustles
http://archiveofourown.org/works/10058453
Every hustler has to get their start somewhere, but Nikko was taking advanced placement courses in the art of the con before he left high school.
I'll try to get some cover art and notes written up tomorrow, as always I'd appreciate any suggestions or feedback.
ComicAnon, if you happen to see this, thank you for your advice on my last story, and I wanted to ask if you have the time to maybe go over some of your feedback points?
Also, bonus embarrassing story, I think I might have mentioned how I got super drunk at the office christmas party and spilled spaghetti about writing Zootopia fanfic to a coworker? She remembered it, and asked me about how things were going with Zootopia having won an Oscar. Doh!
>>7973868
Other than fixing the bold/italic stuff?
Not that much, it's a cute little story.
>>7973859
....I would have to assume that at one point, the enslavement / second class non-citizen status of predators could have been very well excused and defended.
Which may or may not have led to some civil war-like scenario back in that era.
The question is.... Would it have been a more industrialized economy versus an agricultural economy? Essentially a disagreement between two different groups of prey mammals?
Or would it have been more of a predator led slave revolt? One that didn't exactly end like Jamaica but had greater concessions in the end than the reconstruction era.

Violet is one of Judy's sisters that appears in the graphic novels/comics. She is pretty much shown as the overbearing worrying big sister who tries to keep Judy home when she heard that she hurt her arm, despite the fact that Judy appears to be fine. She also stands up to Bogo on Judy's behalf.

>>7973880
That was really cute, I like how easy they are around each other. Easily able to switch back and forth from caring to scathing bickering. There were some parts that caught me off guard, "Because I thought we agreed that you’d only do that when I was either sleeping or pretending to be and only after midnight––", but seeing them stay mostly true to their original selves was great. I wonder what Nick would do with his life after high school with a little sister like Judy to keep an eye on him.

Reposting for the new thread!
Its Thematic Thursday!
Teenage Years!
Wazaaaaaap, dawgs? Who wants to play some handball before the bell rings for first period?
Teenage years! Formative moments in everyone's lives where we're still enjoying the purity of childhood, yet becoming aware of the adult world! Independence and identity are becoming more important, and we're looking at a bright future where we can be anything we want to be-- but that's years away! For now, let's party! Tommy Two-Horn's parents are out of town for the weekend and Mel Mapawsie's brother said he'd bring beer! We'll blare Offspringbok as loud as we want, and I even hear Courtney Lop'll be there-- have you seen her without her braces?
Of course, there are downsides to being a teen-- and I'm not just talking about parents getting up in our grill! Hard to be taken seriously when you have less than two decades worth of life experience (and tons of acne), but you're not wise enough to know that! Or maybe you are wise, but the rest of the world has been conditioned to see it the way everyone else tells them to. Bullies abound, from nerds who make fun of you for being dumb to jocks who beat you up for being weak. And the sweetheart that you put a letter in their locker? She's texting L O L to her friends and now the whole school hates you! Its embarrassing just to remember!
So lets make some cool memories now while we're living in the past! Send me message over Friendster with your fics, and I'll send you a CD with my read through! Make sure to download Winamp-- its got the best visualizers.
>>7974728
Couldn't you easily slice off his ears like the ends of sausages when that happens?
And reposting this for the new thread as well!
A trip down memory lane takes a once sly, smug mammal to a formative period of his life. As hustles mount, so do the stakes. Will the teenage love of his life reciprocate his feelings, or will she spurn him despite his confident swagger? Find out in Remembrance, by A_Signature!

I imagine crossbowbuns probably try and stay out of melee range.
Do you like Finnick? Do you like Nick? You should! And I've got something for you!
Hey, I've made two things that I want to post. One of them isn't quite TT related per se, but it involves teenagers so it counts. This one, though, was tailor-made for TT.
http://pastebin.com/FEewj98m
Title is: "Pink Collar Crime". The synopsis is, in a nutshell, teenage hustlers Finnick and Nick consider what will happen with this important con. Nick wonders what it all means. They mull over a bunch of things.
I'm being vague, but this is hard to describe. I know that a ton of stuff has been shilled lately. Still, I really would like more eyes on this. Please let me know what you think.
(I apologize for the formatting. I want to fix this, but my internet is still being bad for uploading / downloading things.)

Is there anyone in these threads that doesn't really give a shit about Pack Street and DOESN'T feel the need to post about it every five motherfucking seconds?
Whichever anon declared it to be like "making a fashion statement" a few threads ago was absolutely correct. I don't get the need to announce what you do like or don't like incessantly as if you're trying to somehow rally people to your side.

I thought it was nice they chose to focus on the root of the predator epidemic and flesh out the Mayor's involvement after Wannabite, but weird that they chose to set so much of it in Bunnyburrow, of all places. Odd choice for what was supposed to be an obvious throwaway gag.
>>7975906
Wasn't around at the time, didn't know. Just seems like people can't really say anything against it without being told to "drop the topic" though many others don't ignore what they dislike.
Didn't say a single thing about splitting the threads, tho. Doesn't even seem like it'd be a remotely even split anyhow.

First time I've ever said anything about it, actually - so now you just come off as a self-important cuntrag. Ouch! You even made a kneejerk presumption, but if what you say is true there's not really a surprise there that you immediately thought that way.
You might not get the need, but you sure as hell have the need to post about what you believe to be the superior pov when all I had was actual, legitimate curiosity.
>>7975922
>instant assumption
>makes a clown of self without realizing it
honk honk! Never said what my opinion on Pack Street was, just asked about those who disliked it. If I said "Is there anyone ELSE-" you might've had something!
So you both seem worse than the people you apparently deeply hate the fuck out of. I'll keep this in mind for future thoughts!

How is everyone going on this wonderful and Weaver-esquely lewd night. Holy crap I was not expecting Weaver to throw that wrench into the ever-churning machine that is these threads.
Hope everyone has been enjoying tt, though I sadly have not been able to submit anything (real life stuff gettn' in the way again).
Well I guess I should stop beating around the bush and get straight into it!
Chapter Seven of Wandering Paw Prints Through the Mulberry Bush is out! When you get a break from the hormone fuelled anxiety pumping romance infusing awkwardness-vietnam-style-flashback submissions of Thematic Thursday, why not have a read.
Delves a bit into both Henry's and Victoria's childhoods, and is generally a nice, comfy chapter. More or less for this story.
Love to hear feedback on any spelling errors or the like and, as alway, I love you all and look forward to seeing you lads in the next one.

Just in case you were serious, yes, there are people who don't follow and even dislike Pack Street. Its common for people to troll the threads by lashing out at people who either do or do not enjoy it. This morning, for about three hours straight, a shitposter was going on about how Pack Street needed a separate thread. It was annoying to say the least. There are still posts relating to it above in the thread as well. I suggest going into the archive and looking two threads back and seeing how much of a shitstorm it was, and it was all by one guy who then took a bow and declared us all trolled. He's a repeat visitor, too. That's why people are tired of this topic.
Good morning thread!

More broadly, I think that Nick as a hustler probably wouldn't go to the point of outright theft, drug smuggling, threats, and the like. That seems too far. He always seemed lighter than that.

Would pubic hair, as we consider it, have an analogue in Zootopia?
>The bunny let go, and saw the tears in her brother’s eyes.
>"Geez, Nick."
>"Sorry. Thanks for coming back."
>"Always, Nick."
>Holdong onto her brother's arms, she leaned up and gave him a peck on the lips.
>He gave a sniffle and smiled down at her. Leaning his head down, he rubbed their noses together.
>"You always know how to make my day brighter, Carrots."
>She pressed their lips together again, and held for a moment longer. Her eyes were half-lidded.
>Nick suddenly looked unsure as she pulled away.
>"That's because I love it when you smile, Nick."
>She leaned in again, and he tried to lean back.
>In a low, sultry voice she whispered, "Just let it happen, big brother,"
>Those last words were uttered with a sway of her hips.
>He caught a breath in his throat as she straddled him, and her lips pressed eagerly against his.
>He didn't try to move.
>She pulled back again, breathing heavily, and he pushed forward, lightly brushing his lips against hers.
>Her paws found the back of his head and neck, and his paws found her head and firm backside.
>Their lips repeatedly pressed eagerly and openly, and they gasped between each break.
>Nick fell back into his bed, with Judy still stradling his waist.
>"I love you," she told him between sloppy kisses.
>His paws then held her on place, and his tongue slid past both of their lips, and coaxed her own into a coiling dance.
>And they parted again.
>His mouth was open, and as she looked down at him, she saw his calm expression clashing with his protruding canines. Her body shook as she went to press their lips back together.
>"I love you, Judy,"
>As their lips locked once more, their paws idly roamed the other's body.
>Their hips rubbed and ground against eachother.
>Clothes idly slipped away as paws became familiar with another's body.
>And soon after, two bodies became intimately familiar with eachother.
>Groans and pleas soon filled their burrow, followed by blissful screams filling their den.
>And then they heard a car door.

It's an interesting question. Do they have a brazilian? Because that means they could also just de fur themselves entirely.
I always wondered whether Judy shaves her face.
>>7976954
Huh. really interesting question.
Now where have I seen pubic hair before...
Oh yes.
That's right.
Yeah I think it depends on the artist.
>>7976965
I think the most they do is trim or shave their whiskers
>>7976965
Yeah, I would think that shaving at all would be considered a really odd thing.
Regular bathing would be natural. Even something like trimming whiskers since they might get all over. Wearing perfume... not too much a stretch.
A Brazilian might be a hardcore fetish for them.

>>7976793
Ah, I understand.
Well, he was not walking already on the path of the law, it was more a slippery slope as his sense of justice was obnubilated by his infatuation. Also I stopped at theft and drug smuggling (don't think in huge, crime lord quantities, much more restricted, still big for a teenager), never mentioned threats and more violent crimes. It was just for the money.
And, now that I think of it better, Nick also would totally do that. He was working for a mob boss who kills mammals easily, so I guess these were little things for him
>>7976867
>I've brought shame to my family.
And your cow, don't forget the cow.
>>7976954
Judging by the trailer (with nude Nick) and the fact that Zootopians are basically animals on two legs I guess the answer is now.
Also imho it is unsightly
>>7976867
I will always love that you drew that pretty kitty in that swimsuit.
>>7977008
I just like the idea of a tired grumpy Judy shaving her face with an electric razor to keep her fur level.
Bathing must be an every day occurrence. I wonder if preening is seen as weird?
>>7977012
I really got neither romance nor sex out of that image.
>>7977102
I would think that specifically preening would be seen as like trimming your toenails. Nothing to be ashamed about, but nothing to do in public either. Damn... someone should write about this. Or draw it. Or both.

>And, now that I think of it better, Nick also would totally do that. He was working for a mob boss who kills mammals easily, so I guess
I still wonder how Nick started working for Mr. Big, and what exactly did he do for him. He didn't care for mammals sure, his initial attitude towards the Otterton case is an example for that, but Nick doesn't seem to want blood on his hands, like when he tried to get Judy out of the Limo instead of running off himself or not just taking the Sky Tram later on.
Also the obvious question of why sell Mr. Big the fucking rug.
>>7977202

>>7977268
Exactly. Just like she is to Remmy.
>>7977285
Sure keep telling yourself that
>>7977285
I would agree with this if she kept it consistently at that supportive level but otherwise didn't delve into things, but she seems to have made taking him into the pack something she's really into. There's also Remmy's thing about 'defending' her when she and Al were doing the wolf ritual play fighting. It's fairy involved. And she does indeed get into sexual type banter.
Having said all that, if you want Anneke to end up slamming the ram, it's not like I'd be opposed to the idea. Or Charlie.
