I'm not sure you understand how metabolism works.
Impoverished people are actually more likely to experience obesity because cheaper foods are loaded with high fructose corn syrup and gluten-based grain filler products that lower production costs while stuffing the body up with excess carbohydrates.
It depends on how you react to poverty, Really. If you're poor but are lucky enough to have access to a lawn you can make nutritional gains fairly cheaply with a vegetable garden. But most people won't have that luxury in poverty and will attempt or even be forced to live off of inexpensive grocery store fare, high-sugar juices, high filler processed foods, produce picked early to appeal on the shelf at the price of most of their ripened nutritional content, and let's not forget soda. Cheaper than water in a lot of cases and way overloaded with both cane sugar and fructose. Might as well just rip out all of your teeth and get a wheelchair now, They're going to rot and diabetes will have one of your feet off before long.
TLDR: It's the end of February, start your fucking tomato sprouts soon, last week if you can.
