Alright, so I've come to the conclusion that I may have accidentally made fragments of tulpas of Origa Discorda and her handmaiden Chloe. This all started at the tail end if 2015 were I watched not even the full episode 1 of Kuroinu, but just enough to see them meet a terrible fate. Months go by with out me thinking about it but in the summer I'd 2016 I keep waking up to two women screaming my name for help as loud as they can. This continues well into fall until I begin having dreams about them about to meet their fate and them pleading for me to do something. As if right now I've been keeping a dream journal on this and my record for the recurring dream is 132 days in a row.

Zun would have some power related to light, to allude to the sun theme. Maybe he can shoot beams of light around. Lyn in turn could reflect this light around somehow, to blatantly allude to the moon reflecting the sun. So they work sort of like Sex Pistols, but the light can also be spread out like a prism or concentrated into a laser or something for special effects that you have to be creative with.

So in short Zun creates light and Lyn manipulates it. Not just Zun's light, any light, so they're only mildly useful apart but strong together.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but it kind of exploded my mind at first so I'll assume you're not. I knos other people might make the same beginner's mistake of essentially creating a echo chamber in their head which will do nothing for you.

If you start becoming uncomfortable with the direction your tulpa is going then you're doing it right. It means that your idea of them is that of a seperate person and not just an extension of yourself. We all base ourselves off a core set of values, so you have to think of what your values are and then what your tulpa's values are and how they can be different in order to provide insight you wouldn't think of.

It's not really a community to begin with, and it's not like the thread being killed matters in the end. It was already a cobbled together mess of scraps from /x/ and /mlp/, both of which have already spawned communities off of 4chan for tulpa discussion.

And discussion of something other people can't see isn't really a great topic for an imageboard to begin with.

I'm in both discords, lurk in this general, and visit some other related places occasionally. I don't really have an attachment to any of them, whenever I want to talk about something, I just make a decision on which place is best for it.

I use this general when I'm hoping for replies to trickle in, like when I have a single question to pose and want people to still notice it even when the conversation has moved on. People are much more likely to reply to old posts here. On the other hand, if I want to start a discussion about something, on a topic that would require a lot of back and forth, discord is vastly superior. The anonymity here also makes it great if I want to mention something embarrassing, there's a lot of details I'm just not comfortable association with my identity.

Another upside to this place is that it's not as closed as a discord, so it's a nice gateway. If we ever want to be able to attract new people to this, we need a gateway.

I think they're important to give new creators ideas on what they can do. They for sure helped me out a lot. At times when I was feeling stuck about a certain thing, I would see if there was a guide or something about the problem. Even if i didn't follow them exactly, they would help five me ideas or a different frame of mind. At the very least, it seems nice to have something as "solid" as a nicely written guide for inspiration/motivation.

I simplify a little by equating forcing to academic performance. There's differences, but it's similar enough. In my case, stimulants help because they increase my engagement to the point where I'm capable of doing activities that don't feel immediately rewarding, like studying and forcing. As far as I understand, depressants are almost the exact opposite, instead decreasing your engagement. Is that something you can relate to when you're on diazepam? Is it hard for you to engage in creative tasks, or to remain dedicated to something that requires a lot of time? If not, don't worry about it. If yes, talk to your doctor about it. Don't have to bring up anything about tulpas, just say you're doing something similar, like writing a novel.

On a related note, do you guys associate scents with your tulpas? What about other senses? It sounds weird to ask what a tulpa smells like, but having a full range of sensory knowledge about them helps create a stronger presence and profile.

So we had a week long break in forcing, I had too many problems to deal with, and when I had the time she seemed to avoid me. Still though of her a lot. Today I forced intensively and immediately noticed that the voice I usually give her is much clearer, the responses started to feel really independent of me.
Later that day while passive forcing she even started a discussion with me, I did most of the talking but still she gave me some questions and reacted to my statements.
I was quite shocked when I realised this, she got excited too, I believe she wasn't quite aware of me hearing her at first.
It's my 5th month of forcing btw.
