We tend to go pretty conservative with how close we follow film canon, that's where the whole 'no domestics/primates/aquatics/birds/fish' rule comes in (even though there are hints that Aviantopia is actually a thing, but it brings up a lot of uncomfortable problems with lore and the films message). One of the few pieces of canon we get is that there's a chain of restaurants called Bug Burga that predators flock to. Hence, the idea of mothboy in Zootopia would be a hard one to swallow (although I think the idea of Judy shielding a moth's eyes at every Burga joint is kind of funny, if wrong).

Lots of artists here have Zoosonas or OCs that are specific to the threads. Inky, for instance, was a frog made out of ink before she used a random animal roller to become a pig, and Moped was a moth as well before he chose to become a Fennec Fox (I think because the proportions were similar). Its a fun way for artists to practice character creation, too, since it can be an experiment in drawing new characters. Chumpy's rerolled his Zoosona a few times, and Rose went from Skunk to Red Panda because she wanted to try something new.

Watercolor pens are nice, but always cause anxiousness when used because you can't just step back with an eraser or an undo.

Also, I think the eye-shielding idea is actually stupid cute and might end up drawing it. I'm not too vested in being a firm fixture, so I don't mind staying as I am and keeping my own endearing(if stupid) little ideas in a self-contained 'garden' 'cause I don't really know what I'd match up with otherwise. Kinda been fluffybug since I don't know when!

I'm working on some writing(and half-RPing) at the moment, but I'll bookmark these links and make sure to give them a good lookover.

As for what I like, I guess I like plain cute nonsense as long as it doesn't get too gunge-y on the romance. I'm pretty easy to please, lots of nice art to look at. I do write, but unlike when it comes to art, whenever I write something it ends up turning into AND THEN THEY FUCKED 95% of the time, whoops.
