When I popped into Skype and saw he'd done it, I cracked up for a few minutes. It was completely out of the blue.

Unfortunately, though plenty of people like the original drawing, it didn't do its job of getting somebody to commission me. I still learned a lot, though; I might do another piece eventually to try again.

I need some advice. I finally had an opportunity to actually try a diaper, thanks to some single adult diaper sample packs that a store near me sells. And I would definitely like to try it again, possibly with better diapers, but the problem is that I live with people.

It's not a problem to hide them, since they're decent roommates and know how to stay out of other people's things. And it's not much problem to find some time and privacy to enjoy them. The problem is how to dispose of them afterward. Even just the one that I tried, I quickly realized that I didn't have a good plan to discretely dispose of it.

Take it out with other trash, covertly using the rest of the trash in the bag to cover the most obvious spots it might be seen from. Then just go take out the trash. The bigger a deal you make it of it, the more likely you are to be caught.

Roommates might get suspicious that you're taking out the trash, if you don't often, but they'll probably be more happy than nosy.

The second point I think is moot; any artist is hopefully learning, even while taking commissions. Perhaps I shouldn't advertise myself that way though, fair enough.
Third point, same as first; I think I'm competent enough at this point to get commissions, but you're correct on a new account not having much attention/momentum yet.

As far as prices go, I think it's fair for 6ish hours of work. If people disagree, they don't commission me, I don't get commissions, and I either lower my prices, get faster so I can charge less, or stop hoping for money. All in all, nothing really shocking, there.

I thought it was a good piece, but I wouldn't pay $30 for it. Maybe some desperate autist with a disposable income might (there are plenty of those in the fetish community), so hope is not completely lost. But seriously, just focus on doing it for fun. It will be a lot smoother that way.

Another big point: Don't expect to be able to make a living off of art. Especially fetish art. Some people get lucky and have their hoard of rabid fans that pay out the ass for copy-paste commissions (I'm talking $500-1000+, completely retarded stuff), but a lot of people won't. Same goes for people who go into youtube and think they'll be able to make a living off it. Success can be pretty random. I suppose I'm not really one to speak considering I'm struggling too.

Unfortunately that means I don't have a price. I wouldn't pay for art at all in my current condition. I could just guess and say "$10-15 max" for something like that, especially just starting off.
