She's likely surrounded by other city councilmammals who are prey. The mayor is prey. What if she could be manipulated through one of her many vices? Deceived? Strong-armed? This is actually a really good observation. Everyone needs weaknesses. Her strength is that she's competent in her work, but yes, in certain contexts, she might have confidence issues.

On one hand, I see what you mean about code-switching around all those prey. On the other, she's in this Bared Fang wolf organization, so they probably keep her on the straight and narrow (as much as she hates their boorish posturing).

What about when referring to others Hands/Paws? I mean we already have hooves/paws/and anything else I can't think of.
Is Hands used as a strictly human word to refer to them? Or could you use it when talking about animals within Zootopia?

Hands it is strictly a human term, as far as I know. Also in the ending of the movie Gazelle says specifically 'paws'.
Hands it is commonly used to describe a human-like appendage (five long fingers, opposable thumbs) and it is used mainly for primates.
In Zootopia we have four fingers/digits (they should be both good) that have one articulation instead of two, so I would stay with paw.

I would say "Hands" would be out, even the earliest definitions were always linked to human hands. We have words to replace "hands" anyway.

As for "fingers", they find their origins in words that meant "five", as in "five limbs (on our hand)". Honestly I would be willing to overlook that one, simply because we don't have many proper words to use in place other than digits, and it would be awkward to use that word constantly.

Yes, but I would argue against coming up with a new word for it. I mean wouldn't the mammal's digit that is separated from the main group still be considered a "thumb" or would it just be an opposable digit?

Not dead, its on hiatus. The problem with this hiatus is that NW is still doing Zootopia stuff, just not of Zistopia anymore. NW already said that they had the story already done, so its not a writer block or anything of sorts. It isn't because its too much work either, I love Zistopia as much as the next guy but the quality of NW sketch vary a lot. My guess is that they just lost the interest on it and probably will remain that way until A) they go crazy and rush an ending or B) they just declare it dead.

Jk, my greatest weaknesses? I guess, in order from greatest to smallest: paws (the "hands", the feet are semi-decent), muzzles (they always are too long or too short or not in the right place at all, if it is a frontal view it is even worse) and clothes (difficult to not make them seem skin-tight, flat or plainly wrong).

I thought about making them longer, but it occurred to me that in Zootopia usually the legs are shortened. This is to make bipedal locomotion possible.
That maned wolf have like double the length in legs of a normal wolf (roughly the same proportion of normal feral wolves and maned ones).
Also fun fact: observing I found that the longer part is the one below the knee, the lengthening is NOT uniformly distributed along all the leg.
