Videogame thread, /trash/.
What are you playing right now?
What games do you look forward to?
>>7676859
Finally got around to playing the Blackgate demo. It's nowhere near perfect, but the story is more interesting than I figured it would be.
On the fence about getting RE7, anyone wanna push me over the edge?
>>7676946
It's different than the recent RE games, but it's really well done. I went from almost not even playing it, to loving it when I tried it. Anything in specific you're unsure of?
>>7676979
Nothing in particular about the game other than price is holding me back. I get the feeling it will come down in price in a month or two so I'm wondering if I should go full price now for a good time or wait a little while for reduced price and still have a good time. If that makes sense.
>>7677016
Yeah, I usually wait for a steam sale for most games, but it just kind of worked out that I had the cash and free time/urge to play this time. Sorry for not being more of a help.
>>7676859
MGSV
Its pretty fun so far.
Only game I'm really looking forward to is Mount and Blade Banner-lord if it ever gets finished.
I already have a huge ass backlog to finish anyway.
>>7676859
Finished emulating Kirby's Dream Land 3 a few days ago. Cute, comfy game.
Fire Emblem on GBA is currently at the top of my backlog. It's been boring for me in the time I played it, and I haven't played it for a few weeks now.
Just killing time with Splatoon while I wait for Night in the Woods and Breath of the Wild.
>>7676896
You know I've heard that alot.
I keep thinking it's all about judicial system rape.
>>7677996
Wut
>>7676979
>>7677016
Me too, I just played the For Honor beta and even though it's great I'm not paying 60 dollars for it.
That and capcom has a reputation of really abusing dlc. I'm waiting for a price drop and to see if Not a Hero is good.
>>7676859
>Furry Date Sim: No Pron edition.
>Greenlight and Kickstarter on the same day.
>Even the furry Daimakimas aren't porn.
>Get's kicked out of /agdg/ for his demo being the most popular.
I don't know if working this fast is a good thing or a bad thing. I hope he actually makes the game though just to see the faggots on /v/ react.
>>7678030
When you are raped by a cop or a prisoner it's considered an act of the judicial system, ain't it?
>>7678117
/v/ would lose their shit, and it would be so perfect. I gave up on that board a few years back, is it still terrible?
>>7678142
Okay, I'm just dense. I'm not even sure that's a path in the game, I just went with the main ones. I hope it gets finished, because there's some potential in the part that's done so far.
>>7678167
>is it still terrible?
Yep.
What did you guys think of For Honor?
>>7681394
Good to know some things never change.
Insurgency.
Recc me good games with gun porn
Not really sure. Been bouncing between quite a few games tonight. Trying to find something that isn't high stress, goes well with my drinking, lets me keep something on my second monitor, and potentially gives me something to talk about.
ive been playing armello so much that ive started plaguing my friends with it
>>7682323
Elite sniper?
The newest one is always expensive but the previous ones are cheap.
Would it be shilling if I posted the greenlight link for this game? I just really want to see it done:

>goal is $10,000
>There are 20 openings for the $500 "Get your cancer fursona in the game" tier
Clever girl.
>>7683598
It's likely for the better that I'm not rich, I'd crash that game with the worst sparkle dog OC's imaginable.
>>7682413
it would, yeah. fuck off
>>7676859
I got Doom and Bloodborne a few weeks ago. I enjoyed them quite well, but I haven't gone around to completing them because of the winter semester. I'm looking forward to getting Nier: Automata when it releases, and maybe Persona 5 though I never played a Persona game before.
>>7677185
I've considered getting Night in the Woods, but I'm not sure I'll stay interested enough to complete the game if I buy it. I played one of the demos (I forget which one) and it didn't resonate with me much other than another story-driven game with mopey twenty-something year olds speaking like they're in a mumble-core film.
Mega Man 9, just got it for the first time. Liking it so far, especially the fact that you can finally replay stages even when there aren't any collectibles to find.
Except Concrete Man's stage. Fuck those elephants.
>>7684584
You played Longest Night. It was a supplemental, not a demo. Really only provided a little bit of lore before the real thing comes out.
I urge you to try Lost Constellation instead. It's also a supplemental, but more of a demo. You can walk around & interact with stuff.
https://finji.itch.io/lost-constellation
>>7689424
Yeah it was that one that I played where all I did was play connect the dots with stars. I already have downloaded both supplementals, but I haven't found the interest to play the Lost Constellation.
>>7676946
I was a Resident Evil 4 guy. I liked the old ones, but 4 was just beyond good and I would constantly mock RE fans who were angry about the shift to more action.
This game made me wish 4 never happened and the series continued in the horror direction. That's how good it is.

He was literally posting in /agdg/ yesterday and people were dickriding him as usual.
>>7683760
>Give furdev $500 for epic troll character XD
>He hides him in a corner somewhere like the fedoradragon in Undertale.
Been playing through Ico. Can't really think of anything I'm looking forward to.
I've only been play MB Warband all day every day again recently. Bannerlord is the only video game I'm looking forward too and it's probably cancelled or otherwise never going to be finished.
>>7683760
Tell us about this horrible thing that you made.
>>7692598
>He was literally posting in /agdg/ yesterday and people were dickriding him as usual.
Everyone rides everyone's dick in /agdg/ it's because they are all incompetent and insecure. They need constant encouragement otherwise they'll realize they wasted their lives more than if they had just played videogames all day, at least then they would have had fun.
Bless 'em.
I'm playing bravely default, looking forward to Yooka-Laylee
>>7695608
I'm playing darkest dungeon... Not very well.
acnl shits comfy
DayZ standalone
A tiny bit of Arma 3
A friend just convinced me to buy Day of Infamy. I like it more than insurgency.
And MechWarrior online.
Still waiting for Mordhau.
I would play mount and blade but that game only brings me sadness as I wait for mordhou and bannerlord.
>>7676859
Waiting for New Wonder boy, Secret Legend and Night in the Woods.
Until then I don't plan to play any games.
I can admit that I have grown out of them.
>>7676859
This thread is so... comfy.
Jumping back and forth between Hyrule Warriors and Smash on the WiiU. Been playing lots of good casuals with my local bros, feels like I'm a kid again. Good times.
paladins but I'm getting super bored with it because hi-rez can't make good games without immediately shitting them up
I've been so pessimistic about vidya for the past five years that I haven't even bothered. Every single new game doesn't feel like any love or interest went into making it. Every game now panders to a niche audience, is trying to be "the next big thing in competitive esports gaming," or is barely-a-game indieshit which gets endlessly praised for "being cleverly retro" or "giving the player feels" or some other dumbass buzzwords.
I can't enjoy vidya anymore, and I both know and hate that it's because I'm not their target audience anymore.
