Word of God goes that they are accepted, not sure about comparison with gay sex, but I'd assume both would get their own amount of hate. I'm unsure about not making children since some can produce, this could be more related to each species separately. Maybe a male bunny who dates a vixen could be seen badly because he doesn't have kids, maybe predators or apex predators who don't have kids may be seen as contributing to the death of the species or something like that.

In all honesty? Probably on the same level as gay relationships, or just slightly lower opinion.

I really can't see interspecies relationships being THAT taboo in a world that has hundreds of different species- eventually mammals will develop feelings for someone of another species.
