Its a rainy night.

How do you think the rain affects everything in Zootopia's districts?

Is it different than the water that they spritz all the time in the Rainforest District?

Does all the fluffy snow in Tundra Town freeze over and become icey hard? Does it build up over time? Do they have to have 'melt days' to clear out the build up?

What about Sahara Square? Does the sand displace? Does everything become mucky? Are quicksand pits a problem? Do they need to resand the section?

Little Rodentia must have some sort of weather protection-- if those apartment buildings are partially made out of popsicle sticks and can be pushed around by a bunny and a weasel, I wonder if hard rain can damage them? Maybe that's why there's so much construction there-- they have to replace everything a lot...

My first memory? Well, I saw the first thread for the first trailer on /co/, back in what I think was June 2015. I remember how the general reaction was mixed: some people were curious, but a lot of people responded negatively. I don't blame them, really, because the trailer gave off the impression that it would be a lot dumber than it actually was. Quite a relief that it didn't turn out that way in the end.

After that, I remember posting occasionally in threads dating back to about November or December 2015.

When the threads first began migrating to /trash/, I held out for a week or two in /co/, but gradually I made the full transition here.

I recall coming into the original /co/ generals back in January.
I recall that the OC darling of the thread was Sad Judy, which originally started as a greentext.
I remember first seeing the /trash/ general a week or so later, when it was solely there just to post Zootopia porn.

I remember when Weaver teased getting into Zootopia fandom with a drawing that indicated he just liked drawing bunnies, and a jokey Judy Quest feature led to him making Late Stake, which resulted in him leaving the /co/ general for /trash/ so he could post the rest without issue.
I started coming here more exclusively after that, and completely dropped the /co/ general after Chumpy and Bore were driven off by the /co/ mods and janitors.

A couple months later I got up the courage to do an OC driven fic called Stoutwell, with the encouragement of Clunkbot, and shortly after that I gained my penname when the original pastebin anon offered to give me a name for my listing as at the time I was only writing as anonymous, and of the few suggestions he gave me, Raccoonfag stuck.

The first half of Late Stake brought me to the fandom. I didn't even see the movie until the DVD rip hit the internet.

i put myself here, i invested in these projects, i gave myself these goals and deadlines and every day I wonder what it would be like to not be a content creator or an artist or anything like that and just live day to day and look forward to weekends and watch movies and fall asleep restfully without having to think 'did i get enough done today' and count the mistakes and misses in my head

I am "fortunate" enough to be in a position where I can sit on my ass for a month and not do a damn thing, but It is truly miserable.
Simple pleasure fulfillment loses value fast and all you want is to do something meaningful with your time.

before I became a CC, both in terms of fandom stuff and in general life, my life was a search for anything that would fill the void left by a dead social life and a yawning gulf between the world, what I loved, and myself, a self I hated and felt was a drain on the world at large.
I can't speak to your role, as you are a much more "public" CC than I am, but I think I have a few of the same emotions you do know - extreme self-loathing for every wasted minute trying to get some piece done, a constant sense of inferiority (which is well-justified, in my case), a neverending workload which is totally arbitrary and subject to whim.
It's misery sometimes. But I don't think I could live any other way, frankly. Without doing something, creating something fresh or at least turning things over, I'd just go back to a suicidal mess that feels totally divorced from the whole of their life.
I can't speak for you. But I know that I couldn't live any other way than I do now. I'd kill myself otherwise. What I can control is what I do, and how much grind I put to it, how much focus I can hone in. You are always an inspiration for me in that regard. You have an incredible ability to catch the small details and flip them, extrapolate them - make them central, and by doing so unify the piece, make it seem complete. Everything I've done for this general owes you that.
I'm sorry that this cuts so deep into your life. I leave it up to you how you want to sort that. But know that what you've done this past year has changed my life.

Seriously, when I met him during my NYC trip I asked him point blank why he bothered getting involved in /ztg/ if he was already mixed up in his own video game development, and he explained to me that when he was discussing with their artist on what he wanted for promo art, he struggled at describing a simple sort of cartooning style.
He then pulled up some of Weaver's artwork and said "this. This is what I'm talking about", and then after sending his lead artist Weavger's stuff he realized that Weaver was doing comics based on Zootopia, which Comic had recently saw and loved.
He then searched out more Weaver art on /co/, found out he was driven to /trash/ and ended up here, where Comic started writing fics and much later critiquing them in his free time.
Without Weaver, Comicanon would not be here.

You know, I can't honestly remember how I got here onto the /ztg/; I know it wasn't immediately after I saw the movie (which was on DVD release, I rented the movie and then bought it afterward). I don't even remember how long I have been here- only that one of my earliest memories of this place was when the "Morning Broth" comic was posted.
I have a pretty shit memory though, so it isn;t surprising.
