I did think about the tail for a while when I was drawing it yesterday but there's so little room and it has to curve in a way that makes most of it go out of frame so I thought it might be hard to recognize as a tail. I thought people would just wonder what the weird clump coming out of her ass is. If I included in the frame on the other hand it might seem too small and I couldn't quite find the balance for it. I also tried to fix a few minor annoyances like Undynes jaw.

Ah! I think I probably drew her mouth a little too up and that's what's been bugging me about it.

To be honest I originally drew smaller, softer tits on the shark girl but then felt like I was straying too far from the original image and it was reducing the impact of the boob envy joke so as an afterthought I increased their size by about 1/3'd and I'm not sure if I made the right choice in the end anymore.

I think part of that is them mostly wanting to further distance a character from human while still maintaining the features most people find attractive. That's just a guess though. Personally I never liked heavily pronounced ears but the smaller ones never bothered me.
