It makes me wish Disney ran some kind of third-party liaison team who fans could talk to. "Hey, this is good enough that we want to option it. If you're interested we can send you the paperwork. You'll get a credit and a commission."

The problem, of course, is that terms are never that easy to set. I and lots of others would be ecstatic to see something we made worked into a Disney film with little more than a credit. But they have no good way to lock it totally down legally and cover their own asses against people who decide they want a cut of something that made a billion dollars. So they just don't touch it.

I've got an idea lurking in the back of my mind that Remmy is the 'safest' one of the entire pack. Most of the pack have two worries: that someone around them could go savage and attack them, and that they themselves could go savage and endanger the mammals around them. And of the two the latter is definitely worse. But Remmy only has the former to worry about, so he doesn't really worry about himself. He worries about everyone else.

I think if he could reach that understanding and vocalize it to the others without putting his hooves in his mouth it could be a really touching moment.

Based on how things play in my head when reading the series...
I picture Charlie's being hushed and raspy.
Sometimes reading Avo's dialogue I hear April Winchell's voice.
Marty sort of has a screechy and high strung voice.
Al has a ridiculously deep Brooklynite sort of voice.
Rex I sorta picture the sort of southerner voice you get in a cartoon where it's clearly a woman voicing a man.
Anne and Wolter actually have no clear voice in my head when reading their dialogue; it's kinda weird.
Betty I see with a bit of a semi-deep growly voice.
Remmy and Ozzy are up in the air for me; when I first read the Wannabite comic, I pictured Ozzy with a sorta skeezy drawl of a half-baked junkie, and Remmy with an awkward speaking tone/cadence of a Middle Easterner speaking English as a second language. Since getting into the series, it's harder to hear those same voices, and I think they just come off a neutral to me now.
