I was never around for some of the early days of /ztg/ and one of the things I have always been interested in is the Bunanon/Red saga. I was able to find the imgur link where a massive plot dump was, but for some reason or another its cut off way to soon.

I know that they did have a happy ending before it ended, but how did the happy ending really come about? Like just a super condensned version or sometinhg would be great.

As you should have seen Bunanon simply started as an anon (the writefriend Alabaster) begin answering posts like a specist rabbit, then it developed further.
It continued as her asking to the thread for suggestion in dealing with the fox Red until they got together happily. Sadly she didn't know how to continue after that. There were some attempts (Bun attacked and got to the hospital, she was seeing an old friend, Red's family) but they never took off. So she decided to end it with one last post, and continue with other projects (The last image of this imgur https://imgur.com/a/BZjW2).
It was an happy little fun part for the thread, and it has tons of fanart (like this Alec one), a lot is on e621, I think.

Sadly I think you need to archive binge for images.
The hospital part was Bunanon getting attacked by preds against her interspecies relationship. It was a bit in which Red talked to the thread, there was some fanart of it. After that everything returned the same except for Bunanon having a notch on her right ear. The Red's family part was pretty much dropped right after it was born.

I'm not condoning actual rape and I feel like what a lot of what you said was right, but sometimes people like those doujins and have a rape fetish because they like the idea of being rape in a sort of fantasy aspect.
