Anyways, greetings, this is Pablote here. I'm writing the finale of Breathers, and there's a part where a whole bunch of bonkers things happen, and everypony is present. So, I figured I'd ask for ideas, if there was anything you'd like to see happen to anypony before the story concludes.

The mane six are going to confront the hag who's responsible for the hex on AJ, right? Maybe her house is protected by plunder vines—a variant that inflates ponies rather than knocking them unconscious. (Pic related.)

Pony somehow slides across the floor on her back, then hits a shelf or desk or table with her head. A huge bottle of liquid, or some kind of air tank, is balanced right on the edge, then falls off when the pony hits it. It lands right in her mouth and fills her up.

Twilight somehow gets hooked up to an inflation source that uses her own magic as power. Maybe a magically-powered air pump; maybe a cousin of the Smooze who gets bigger by absorbing magic. Whatever the mechanism, Twilight keeps trying to escape with spells and telekinesis, and it just inflates her faster every time.

Hope something in there helps. Either way, I'm really looking forward to that last chapter.

The great thing about writing a dream sequence is that I can throw in weird stuff like that and get away with not explaining any of it. For real, though: I've had an outline for this entire story before I started writing any of it, but the scene with "Test Subject" was a late addition to this chapter. And I used T.S. rather than anypony else because I wanted Twi and Zecora to be the ONLY characters in the dream (after the first chapter).

It's funny, but I never really considered doing whole body inflation WITH butt and crotchboobs. Always either belly inflation by itself, or spherical whole-body inflation. I'll have to try your suggestion in a future chapter.

Splorch weighing in.

You've already got the formula down pretty well for it. The buildup ends up being more important than the pop, and you have already proven you're pretty damn good at that. Most who like it find most of the satisfaction to be from being driven to the point of bursting rather than the bursting itself, though the pop is still considered to be the climax of inflation (and scene barring multiple pops). Considering I found myself wondering if TS was about to explode several times, I'd say you don't need to worry. Whatever you write will no doubt be high-quality. The only thing I can suggest is to linger a while on the brink. Pic related is the kind of thing I'm talking about: About to burst is where the action and emotion lay.


One thing worth noting is that it's best to avoid mentioning any remains after the burst, though this particular rule could probably be suspended due to the dream-state your story takes. If it's a cartoony pop I'll usually spend a single sentence afterwards describing what's left, but otherwise I'll write nothing beyond references to what the pony had inflated with. If you don't like bursting much, being reminded somepony just exploded can be a bit of a turn off. Then, there are the people who flat out can't differentiate bursting from snuff. Someone always takes it too far, and soon you'll find yourself surrounded by so many straw-man arguments that you could safely keep several dozen acres of corn safe from crows.

Side note, as far as I'm concerned you're top-tier when it comes to writing pony inflation. There's no one I can think of that's outright better, and only a few that are on par.

I've always been sorta take-it-or-leave-it on pops, but if you ever want to fend off the death/fatalfags you can always just make an epilouge scene of them getting stitched back together or otherwise being not fucking dead. I mean, this fetish is already so steeped in cartoon physics there's not really anything outside the realm of possibility.

Popping is certainly something taboo in the inflation community. I've done one story with it before, should do some more.
The main thing to focus on popping is the build up. Though this is a lewd comparison, think of it as something similar to fapping. You pump your dick progressively, getting harder and harder, until you reach that point where you gotta cum.
It's kinda like that but with the whole pressure gig. It's also good to put in onomatopoeia to really add sense of how pressurized they are along with other neat details like leaking or rumbling.
The other hard part is how to do said popping. You always go for the simple explosion and add bits of detail here and there. Same time, you could go for a slow downed detail explosion where you progressively detail the bursting as it happens like more leaks appearing and each part of the body bursting open before the big bang.
As for the aftermath, if you want to add the implication that the inflatee is still alive... I guess either go with instant respawn or add your own creative way of bringing ponies back via magic, putting pieces together, yatta yatta.,

The whole 'samey' argument can be applied to fat as well if you don't try to do much to make it interesting other than simply tossing food stains, rolls, flab, and such. My biggest qualm with inflation is it seems to be generally played out as the character inflating near-instantly and "fwoomping" up. And its that instantaneous change that kind of kills it for me. I have that same issue when fat is shown that way in stories or sequences.

If there's an instance of inflation that's really gradual, as in the character is slowly inflated over the course of days/weeks/months, with periodic looks at how their progressive bloating affects them, I think that would help raise the unf factor enough that I'd show more interest in it.

Otherwise, nothing I have against it. It just doesn't chumba my wumbas quite enough that I regularly do it outside of a silly fun draw.

I remember reading story somebody did based off Undyingwolf's pic "How to grow a large apple". Supposedly they made it as if it was a sequel to "Expanding Secrets" where Big Mac inflated for Price Blueblood in a Skype, but Applejack barges in on him. In this story Big Mac has been forbidden to see Blueblood, but he wants to inflate again so badly. He then finds a tank and inflates himself in the barn, hence how the writer has based the story off of UW's pic. As the commissioner, I am sorry to say that Sunset Shimmer won't be in demon form. And if you are expecting all of the characters featured in this series to be inflation/blueberry, that is not the case. If you have not been paying attention Antagonist's Indulgence features villains/antagonists from the show undergoing a wide rather of fetishes. These festishes range from either inflation, blueberry, pregnancy, weight gain, vore or muscle. It was hard to organize who should get which fetish because I tried my best to showcase villains/antagonists that not only don't get enough spotlight, but also which fetishes they have not yet been/hardly been paired with. You should be grateful though. There are villains that I have decided not to be featured in AI because of my budgeting on this project, so I could not have let NMM, Trixie or Shimmer be in this. However, they are. Even so, there are still 20 pieces to go for this series, so I should knock off most of the popular villains/antagonists in this project. I may add in missing antagonists/villains in the future when I save up for it, and now that you have mentioned demon Shimmer, I am interested in adding that. Even more so, NMM, Trixie or Shimmer won't undergo either WG, vore or muscle.

It's your call what the outcome is. All characters in "AI" are single images of the antagonists undergoing the fetishes. The reason I chose him as blueberry is because it fits perfectly with his "blue flu". So if you decide to make up your own thoughts and fantasies with what is presented I can't stop you.

A combination of several things.
>She fell off Mister Bones Wild Ride 3-4 times, getting burned out worse and worse each time.
Defenceless quit multiple times. After the first instance she came back and did quote a bit more. The second time she returned there was almost nothing (probably due to point 3), the third return was a few new pieces in a less show-accurate style, and the fourth time she showed up after almost two years of silence and posted two pics. That was two years ago.

By the end, some of her journals were talking about a re-write project to effectively make an alternate cannon her stories and art would adhere to. Others discussed observed flaws in a rather disheartened manner. I can't say I blame her. The show's drifted pretty far from the Low Fantasy Slice of Life style season 1 and early season 2 were under Faust's creative direction.

Drawing became physically painful. She tried to hide it as an undisclosed personal problem for a while but it did eventually get out. It's my understanding that she did eventually get recovered, though the extent of the injury or recovery isn't known.

While she got better at dealing with it as time went on, it's clear it never went away. She mentioned it relatively early on, and its a recurring theme that gets mentioned every time she quit. It's a shame, because I still think she was the single best stuffing/inflation artist we ever had.
