She says it inspires her.

While her flat isn't particularly suited for mammals of her size, she'd come up with a few very clever solutions like a system of ladders, harnesses and small lifts made of buckets. This helps her in compelting her big project, which is a painting of the vista from her floor to ceiling windows.

This is not to say she's homebound - quite the opposite, she leaves her place rather often, although because of her busy lifestyle most of the talks with her business partners take place over video calls, which, combined with the fact she wears small glasses, makes her appear bigger than she really is.

The idea to find a job there came to her spontaneously as she became fascinated with industrial design some weeks ago and decided the cargo port in Marshlands would be the best place for her studies.

How a small artist near retirement age found a job there remains a mystery, though she had herself employed in a part time position as an assistant supervisor. In reality, her job solely consisted of sitting in the small tower overlooking the port and checking certain readings of little significance back to the control room ever fourty or so minutes.

The job suited her greatly, leaving plenty of time for her studies of numerous vessels entering and exiting the port, scuttling of port workers and the busy industrial landscape below her, she she found endlessly fascinating and so very much unlike natural shapes ubiquitous to Zootopia.

For all the envy and puzzled looks she receives from those familiar with her career choices, her only reply was "life is too short for ordinarity".

However, despite hunger for the new horizons, she never in seemed to be in a hurry, her small graceful movements mirroring polished perfection of her art. This always changes as soon as she begins creating - her movement becoming speedy, each stroke layered in swift, relentless movements; seeing her create was almost a magical process for compelling, vivid pictures would appear near instantenously all the while being able to maintain such speed for hours without having to make a pause.

There is no telling for how long her current passion will keep her satisfied; for her, entire world is just waiting to get explored and after over four decades in art she feels she had only merely scratched the surface of something big and amazing.

She'll relentlessly push towards new horizons and whatever they will be, it can be certainly said for certain they won't be anything short of spectacular.

This is a strangely interesting concept, and this also reminds of of that 3 Judy's 1 Nick Fic, that had her splitting apart due to a curse of some sort.

I also can't help but think how exactly this Judy and society would handle this. I mean would SavageNick only be allowed to stay at her home, or would he be a kind of guard beast for her? Why wouldn't they just try and not cure him? Unless the cure just won't work.
And would Slick and Sensitive Nick both be officer's of the law, and would the 3 of them be together?

Warning now, there is no train wreck really. The story itself is basically the author picked one hundred words and did short drabbles of each of them, each one being about 100 words each.

The one I am walking about is basically this:

In fact it's been pretty bad like that for me lately; with most days after work resulting in me having maybe an hour or two before I start losing consciousness, and eating/personal maintenance has to take priority during that time.

There's no catch-all answer for the problem, as we all have different schedules and needs to work around.
But first off I'd say maybe consider what I've been getting myself back into the habit of, and that's setting aside a significant amount of time on days off to write.
It won't always be easy, and I imagine you'll have other errands to run and social gatherings to deal with, but those are the days you'll have the most control over rest so you won't be as exhausted when you have the time to write.

Beyond that, try to set daily writing goals; something within reason, like 500 words or more, or 30 to 60 minutes of writing time if your free time is that narrow.
Also, and I don't expect you to have the same fortune as me, if you work a job that allows for you to carry your cell on you, use any breaks or slow periods to jot down what you want to write when you have the actual free time; it'll help you take better advantage of it as you'll have it pre-planned and won't end up squandering your writing periods hashing out what to do next.

Beyond that, if fatigue still thwarts you, just drink a lot of caffeine.
A lot.

Not A_sig, but I got that feeling when I read your story. It feels like a strange combination of a parody and a commentary wrapped up in a nicely written story that can be taken seriously because of the two previously mentioned factors.

As for TT...I've devoted all of my time to this story. I'm not very good at multi-tasking when it comes to writing; I tend to focus on a single story, and even then with all the distractions of real life it's been taking me longer and longer to get updates out. I want to put a new chapter out every 2 weeks at least like when I started, but I'd settle for every three weeks. I get distracted really easily. Once I finish this (probably 3 more chapters, maybe4?) I'll get back into TT.

Okay, well, going by that last post I guess I work on Slot Street.

Male, Late twenties...let's say an HVAC mechanic. I like the idea of a tube dude slinking about literal tubes finding shit to fix pretty endearing. Standard grease-monkey archetype, heterosexual, has a weakness for rabbits (which I like because they're natural enemies, like foxes and rabbits, the reverse is cute) and other ladies slightly larger than himself, bit of a foul-mouth and responsibly (i.e. sparingly) gambles away some extra spending cash once or twice a month, though he has gotten in trouble a few times before for not knowing when to stop.

So, for an interesting experiment, I've gone through Spin's comic to witness the devolution of Max Midnight, and it's interesting in a sad way.

Forgive the shitty collage, I wanted to be done with this shit as fast as possible.

He remains fairly consistent during the early chapters, save for the noticeable minor tweaks made to him.

However, he largely still looks like a rabbit at this point.

And now, here we are with him completely unrecognizable from how he was when he was first introduced.

Looking more like Wile E. Coyote's long lost cousin than a rabbit, he presumably has the chiseled face of what Spin assumes is a Greek god to match his now super long-ass tail.

It's shocking just how much he changed within a chapter or two. All to justify Spin's decision to retcon/"emphasize" him as a fox/rabbit hybrid, which flies in the face of the entire first half of the comic about tensions with pred-prey relationships.

I don't use Krita, but if it works like Clip Studio Paint (and it should, since all art programs have similar options) I suggest that you lock the layer after doing the lineart. So, even if you accidentally click it, it should be impossible to modify it.

It is almost sad to see the transformation happen like this. Honestly I think how he first looked was near perfect. He looks spot on like a rabbit for the most part, a little bit wild fur here and there, enough to make him look a little bit "edgy" but not overboard. Gives him a unique character look without being too crazy about it, other than the shade of fur and the god-awful name.

I liked what he originally represented at first, what the dangers are of interspecies relationships in Bunny Burrow. He was scarred for it, by which side was up in the air, and that is what could happen to Nick and Judy.

Instead we get...whatever he has turned into now.

Its just distracting. Why would anyone care that the fox/rabbit hybrid dates a pred? Why is that an issue? Why hasn't he been cast out as a leper? Why is everyone worried about Judy being with Nick but fine with Max Hybridnight?
Its so weird. I no longer can tell you what the plot is because I can't read the speech bubbles with his face looking like it does.
Nick and Judy go to bunnyburrow and have problems reconciling their interspecies relationship. That's what this story was. Now its... something. Nothing. I don't know.

Yes! This so much!

The sister character was representation of the same thing. But on the opposite side. Whenever she and Max talked it was in a sence clash of the social views on interspecies relationship.

The worst part is that the story was made before the comic. So why was the first part so good and then in matter of one chapter it went to shit?
Did she copy the first part from someone else and then build up on it?
Is she a horrible writer and all good things on the beggining were accidental or unintentional?
What happened?
