It sounds like Dottie and Walt have drifted apart somewhat.

An interesting post. Actual info, or someone trying to start something?

Nobody's posted it yet, so I feel like it's my duty.

Never mind, if what someone said about the "signature" KC's thread ripping software leaves on images he reposts is true, it looks like that's him, going by this post >>>/co/89190302
Feels like damage control on his and Aaron's part, considering that email. Very interesting. I wonder if this signifies a downturn in readership and the reluctant engagement of a "Plan B"?
Reminder that Jim is best waifu and that Aaron forced the retarded reptile into the comic because of his divorce, which likely had something to do with his disgusting fat/feeder fetish.

AHAHAHAH benisxDDD
Here we have a certain mouse lady getting what she deserves.
I'm still up to the part when she's nuts, don't know if it developed further from that, but let's say I found the ball-gag fitting.
I might do more, for the funs.

Yet another doodle. Yeah I know, I'm a bondage freak. Any excuse is fine to restrain a cute character in the silliest ways.
Let's lower the suits opacity to see how's our little guest doing in her cozy new prison.
Don't worry folks, she's perfectly able to breath. Pretty kind, considering it should be a topsiders design, right?

I googled him, tons of latex. Surprisingly tho, not exactly my jam! This "full suit" thing here is just a coincidence, I don't always draw it. Not that I have problems with it!
But hey, I'm always happy to go hand to hand with another artist. So thanks!
>>7271372
Not as great as your picture tho! That look X°D
Thanks a bunch (both for the laughs AND the compliment).
>>7271714

>>7273411
Aaaand noted.
Also... I wanted to set this up so I could post it elsewhere too. But then it became a thing, I guess? Of course it's only quickies and doodles...
Also, story wise I think topsiders would just... You know. Kill mutants. But eh, I guess it's fine for a few laughs and silly fetish porn.
>>7273947
Funnily enough he did a lot of Endtown stuff, that is kind of different than his regular.
That Wally is excellent though I wouldn't mind Jim being put in similar thing!
>>7273947
i still think that flask is hot as fuck, one of the best i have seen, then again.. she doesn't have much art.
>>7274384
Thanks a lot, sorry for not answering before, but I had to delete and repost because typos and I wasn't sure you were talking about my drawing! I'm glad you like her tho.
I'm surprised she doesn't get more attention! With the whole "master" and "pet" relationship she had going with her lover and all that... But more importantly, with such bodeh :U
>>7274317
I might as well do that, first or later. After all, I did draw quite a lot of gurls.
>>7275389
all good, Flask is a complete sexbomb, it's sad there's so little art from her.
>I did draw quite a lot of gurls.
Jim is another cute who deserves lots of art, he's such a great character.
also, more flask because why the fuck not
>>7275419
Sexbomb is the appropriate word!
I loved Jim and I felt genuinely bad for him when he got... Well... T_T
Speaking of which. I need to vent. I'm done catching up with the comic and I'm so sad Holly's gone! She's not even in the banner anymore!
It's SO SAD! As much as I like Kirbee I can't hide that i'm soooo hurt ;_; And what's worst, it seems like she's not having a come-back. And the drawing he made for Christmas T_T
THEIR NAMES RHYMED! WHYYYYYY...
Allright, done bawwing. Back to arting °v°
>>7275583
Read the last /trash/ thread to know why. It's very complicated, seems that Holly was representative of Aaron's old wife and when the divorce hit he wanted to get rid of her.

Newest comic. I wonder what caused the delay?
I think this plotline is going to get Aaron a lot of emails asking if it was inspired by Zootopia...
>>7292444
he already did
>>7293140
I seem to recall that mention of Aaron receiving emails asking (without any apparent research) if Endtown as a whole was inspired by Zootopia, but I was referring to the current arc with the pred/prey relations stuff, specifically - I think it's going to trigger a new wave of them.
>>7293204
most definitely, he was pretty upset on that email, specially about people accusing him of ripping rick and morty off..
>>7293241
Yes, that was kinda funny.
I think it just all leads back to the whole "Aaron's self-exclusion from certain parts of pop culture denies him any grounds for comparison and causes the thing he's trying to avoid... which he probably shouldn't care about anyway" issue again, though.
I wonder if, A, he's actually seen Zootopia, and if not, B, if this is a situation like the whole Endtown/After the Bomb thing, where if he wouldn't have done something at all if he'd had more knowledge of a particular piece of media.

I honestly believe it is more than just one guy. I recall a bunch of threads back, two anons talking about waiting for KC lewd commissions and that he never delivered them. I haven't seen any of those around, either Kc never delivered them or anons are not sharing.
>>7327001

He turned into a little bitch once he started hanging around with Kc, those collabs they made aren't particularly good either.
>>7327832
Now that you mentioned it, Jamil did stop showing up when the whole Holly thing blew wide open. Shame.
Thought of him as better man.
>>7327917
I think he's mostly busy with Jasper Gold, lately. Plus he was moving house or something.
Can't muster any anger with him myself... as far as I'm concerned, out of all the fan artists KC was the only real toxic element in the /co/ threads.
>>7327965
And KC's haters, who are probably those two above saying shit about Jamil.
Even though I understand why they hate KC more than ever, that is still no excuse for being as toxic as him.
>>7327917
There have been worse things tossed at artists and even bannings and that didn't break them down.
All I know is that since Jamil and KC started doing collabs, his involvement in the threads was really weird, most of the time just delivering art by KC that he inked. Worst thing is that KC's art is not so great, so Jamil spending time to ink it was a bit sad to see. Jamil's stuff is always looking so dynamic and alive while all KC does is stiff and samey.
I honestly think Waifuwars is what drove Jamil away, the only reason Kc stayed is because he was the main instigator.
>>7328106
It wasn't even real waifufags at some point, just trolls trolling trolls. Like it happened with "bronies". I also blame the Poppy crossposters. And kirbeefags, who've always mostly been shitty people.
>>7328205
Kirbeefags weren't the ones who blew up the disappointing ending out of proportion and completely turned on Aaron.
Jamil here. I've been real busy with moving into a new place, working on JG, and doing projects on the side. As some of you know as well, my full time job takes up the majority of my time in the day. I haven't been visiting these threads that much lately because of how little time in the day I have now. I can't say I'll be posting around the threads much due to my schedule, but truth be told, the hostility I've been witnessing is also kinda steering me away.
Also, I just want to say, despite what the couple of anons are saying, I actually really enjoyed working and collaborating with KC. Working on those pieces really helped me improve my inking. I had a ton of fun doing them, not only for the threads, but for Selina and Aaron as well.
>>7328297
I think most hollyfags simply dropped the comic. In the mess that the /co/ thread became during that time, I noticed only one person genuinely claiming to be a hollyfag.
As for me, I've never really liked Holly and Wally that much and I kinda considered myself a kirbeefag after she said "I must go back, someone could need my help" because I just love characters like that but then everything else happened and now I dislike both her fans and the things Aaron has done with her. I like her as a person but she's obviously pretty forced in many aspects.
>>7328407
Don't worry, just do your thing. You aren't obligated to stick around and I honestly appreciate more JG. I hope one day it gets big enough to discuss here on 4chan.
>>7328581
>she's obviously pretty forced in many aspects.
I like her too and i do agree with this, it was mostly the rewritten ending that absolutely stripped her from her initial purpose, which was Wally's emotional support after losing Holly. She's just kinda there now, which sucks.... i am still looking forward for their return.
>>7328581
>I think most hollyfags simply dropped the comic.
I get the impression it's more than just them. /co/ threads are tumbleweed zones, and the GoComics comment section's not doing so hot lately, either. And that's with a bunch of new characters, waifus, plot points, plus the return of Walt and Dottie...
>>7328407
I'm with >>7328581, go off, put this stuff behind you, and concentrate on rootin' tootin' sixshootin' cowboy bunny adventures. And yeah, your comic needs a story-timing sooner or later...
>>7328658
>She's just kinda there now
I wish that was the case. Aaron decided she was our new favorite character instead.
>Wally's emotional support after losing Holly
This would have been much better too on a meta level. As it is, it's hard to believe Wally would have cared either way. Then there is Holly not even giving a "P.S. take care of Wally for me" to Kirbee to show that she really wants the best for him too and finally end all the bullshit this love triangle caused.
It's like Aaron wants the waifu wars to continue.
>>7328818
>Aaron decided she was our new favorite character instead.
I don't really feel like he's forcing people to like her, i know most claim this because he's shipping her with wally, but that would be the extent of it. Kirbee being naturally helpful and resourceful, while still being an airhead was kinda established during unity.
>As it is, it's hard to believe Wally would have cared either way.
This is exactly what breaks the ending for me, Wally literally went "Oh well!", and moved on. I hated that.
>Then there is Holly not even giving a "P.S. take care of Wally for me" to Kirbee to show that she really wants the best for him too
This one doesn't really bothers me too much, but the content of the letter. While i understand Holly did it to protect them from herself, which was the right call, she came like a complete bitch on that letter, it reads "I can't risk you fucking up and not being able to save me one day, i will stay here, Kthanksbye", making her look like a complete hypocrite.
>finally end all the bullshit this love triangle caused.
It could have ended properly if Aaron had kept the original ending, given Holly a tragic end or a sacrificial heroic deed, and had made Wally cope with her loss in a future arc.
As is... it's just disappointing.
>>7328932
Yes, it's pretty disappointing. I wished stating the obvious didn't lend itself to Kirbee vs Holly arguments so easily.
>"I can't risk you fucking up and not being able to save me one day, i will stay here, Kthanksbye"
To be fair, she knows Wally is specially bad about blaming himself for everything. Even Allie thought so.
>>7329006
>To be fair, she knows Wally is specially bad about blaming himself for everything. Even Allie thought so.
That's exactly what was gonna happen, Wally was gonna be absolutely crushed about not being able to save her, and there's where Kirbee would have come in, she would have helped him cope and prevented him from killing himself and probably schism.
>>7329111
>probably schism
For the last time, that's not how it works. Wally got over that a long time ago. Did you see him going through Schism Syndrome when Holly "died" back in Unity? Of course not.
>>7329193
he did go suicidal, though.
>>7329209
And that has nothing to do with Schism Syndrome.
>>7275673

>>7350165
No. I had gotten tired of Wally a long time ago and Walter is one of my favorite characters, along with Dottie.
Up
>>7350353
I was never a huge fan of Wally, that's why the first arc with Al and Gustine is my favorite. Dottie has real good sense of right and justice and Walt's unstoppable given the right motivation so I think it's going to be pretty good. That being said though I hope this arc isn't just a court battle and instead we see them do more action-y stuff like going topside again or what people are guessing, exploring the water source of Endtown.
>>7352234
>I hope this arc isn't just a court battle
That'd be ridiculous considering the kind of shit that goes down in Endtown.
>>7357516

Newest strip.
>>7369522
That wonky dialogue makes me think Aaron is rushing these out.
>>7370793
I don't know about the dialogue, but I feel like something's up with the art. That foreground depth-of-field in the last panel just looks odd, I think, and the shading in the last few strips has felt really off to me, too.
>>7370903
I'll agree with the "shading/colouring". It went really down - use of ugly gradients without rhyme or reason to the super washed out grays.
The latter? Nah it's on the par. The pier in Endtown changed though visually for no apparent reason. Walt's face also changed a bit.
Weird is how much time these updates take, making me wonder if this whole chapter won't be a major rewrite in the making.
>>7370987
I've been wondering if the delays plus the weird graytones mean Aaron's been coloring these himself lately.
I also just noticed that his email and Patreon are missing from the latest one, which is weird.
>>7370987
>wonder if this whole chapter won't be a major rewrite in the making
I already suspect so with these delays.
Going back and thinking about the fanart and rewrites I am now wondering what was the original story gonna be?
Let's think - no Lyn flashback, Jim and Sarah gets met, Unity happens, Sarah joins crazy lizards, Jim gets eaten, Holly and Wally reach the great sea - Chic, Holly and Wally build a raft and sail on.
>>7372723
We'll probably never know for sure.
I kind of think it would have been neat if the group had continued on in the wastes, having weird adventures, sans Kirbee but plus Jim (which would necessitate him not going back).
Not even a Jimfag, I just think Jim was a good character with a lot of wasted potential.
>>7372723
>no Lyn flashback
We met him since they got out of Endtown. Lyn has been canon since before Unity. Are you the same person every time or this really something that many people forget? Also, it was pretty obvious that Holly was meant to break down at some point since she's always been "quirky" and you can't forget her state after the Milk Trial.
That said, she was probably meant to recover and go to the Great Green with Wally and Chic, raise the boy like their own die tragically "young" before everything changed.
>>7372872
>Not even a Jimfag, I just think Jim was a good character with a lot of wasted potential.
I REALLY wanted him and Wally to become friends, they both needed someone that would tell them they're full of shit but that they could ultimately trust. Maybe they could have gone on adventures while Holly and Chic (and Kirbee too) stayed safe somewhere else.
>>7373127
>Maybe they could have gone on adventures while Holly and Chic (and Kirbee too) stayed safe somewhere else.
I think Aaron once mentioned in an email that Jim would have treated Kirbee like an inferior, or something, but I think that would also have been a good start for some character development for Jim, and would have given Kirbee more of a point, too.
>>7373196
Just imagine, Kirbee helping Jim to stop being a nazi and to get over Sarah. And it would have been cool to see Wally and Jim dick measuring their military skills.
>>7373274
... why do I feel like Jim/Kirbee would have worked a lot better than I feel like Wally/Kirbee is going to?

>>7398761
Whatever happened to her happened before she had time to change out of her jogging clothes. So right after the phonecall, probably.
>>>/co/89414045
>Walt's getting framed.
Thoughts? Even if they did try, Walt has many reasons to want her alive so it wouldn't make sense.
>>7399643
Her neck's obscured. InB4 it's an attempt at "You can't trust Walt, he's a predator and his instincts will take over!", and when he rolls her over he finds her neck's been crushed by a bite from something big (which would be more the way big cats do things, I think, but hey, maybe that would be significant...)
Cue flood of letters to Aaron from people who have seen Zootopia.
Or she could just have cried herself to sleep. That face looks more sad than mortally afraid.
>>7399749
>That face looks more sad than mortally afraid.
It looks horrifying for sure.
There's already some shitposting on the /co/ thread. Jeezis.
>>7398810
Door's ajar, too. Doesn't look like it's been jemmied, and the chain and latch had to be undone from the inside (barring someone getting in via a window or something), so quite possibly she unlocked the door for someone she knew after recognising them through the peephole.
I'll bet the wolves are going to be under suspicion for attempted silencing of a witness via a third party, and Walt will be under suspicion because he'll be found cradling her dead/comatose body, but it's actually going to be more deeply related to the phonecall and the disappearances.
Walt and the wolves may end up on the same side.
Pig lawyer may be involved in setting up the whole thing, misleading her own clients, with her and the other conspirators having decided to use a now very public court case featuring the wolves to distract the public from what's really going on and push the pred/prey split.

Feels odd that she'd go out jogging again right away after having that encounter with those wolves. For that matter, feels odd that she'd go out again after getting an apparently threatening phone call.
I wonder if she's not telling Walt the truth? Or maybe she's just that obsessed with slimming down, possibly to make herself undesirable to whoever was on the other end of the line. Unless the slimming thing is just the groundwork for an FA message woven into the arc.
