I love it! I'm glad you did not shy away from Undyne's BF and Mettaton being a bit naughty with each other too since it adds to the erotic appeal to the whole thing.

The transition between first and third person took a bit of "gear shifting" in my head, though I don't know if that's necessarily a bad thing since it draws back the perspective to Undyne writing and I quite appreciate that. If anything, the anticipation for the lead up to the "main dish" of the story was probably distracting me.

I agree with you in that it's missing... something... though I can't put my finger on it. Possibly something with Mettaton, he was a bit quiet, though I can understand not wanting him to steel the show with a comment or reference.

Yeah, the main problem is that due to the way I'd been pacing it it would really need to be about twice as long and I simply wasn't up to it. I'll probably finish it later tonight, or tomorrow sometime. I agree that Mettaton is too quiet, and I managed to misspell his name. I was going to work that in later but that didn't end up happening.

As a botfag I was kind of against this idea since Undyne doesn't seem to like Mettaton all that much in the game or she's at least really indifferent towards him. I just don't really see any kind of connection between Mettaton and Undyne other than Alphys perhaps. I think they'd be a fun duo with their personalities clashing so hard but that's about it.

I feel like paragraphs 8-12 kind of ramble on and lose focus for an odd moment. The sex itself is hot. I'm glad you didn't make Mettaton completely passive and involved a bit of anon on Mettaton.

I like your writing style. It's not perfect but it can hold attention and it seems to shift between funny and interesting in a nice way. Even though I didn't like the idea that much it was still fun to read.

What don't you like about my writing style, just out of curiosity? I always find that an odd comment since I obviously am quite attached to it, but I agree, I don't think it's perfect, it's just something I'm very used to at this point.

A leotard is supposed to reach the top of the thighs so you wouldn't really see it from under the jeans unless it's awkward like in that image where the edge of the jeans starts from somewhere near the middle of her ass. It'd be pretty indistinguishable from a sleeveless shirt.

Hmm it's difficult to pinpoint. It's more of a feeling I get when I read your stuff. It comes and goes. Some lines sometimes irk me in a weird way. Like I wouldn't have thought about the things written in such a way or something a character said didn't feel up to par with the rest of the text. Like the paragraphs I mentioned earlier but I suppose you kind of threw those in afterwards so it wasn't as big of a deal.

This is pretty nitpicky though. I think it's ultimately more of a difference in the way we think than any kind of actual mistake.

Yeah, it was odd to request Undyne and Mettaton together but I couldn't think up another male character that I could see being in a threesome with Undyne and her BF (and I really wanted a MMF sequel to the FFM birthday story).

All things considered, it was a pretty good story despite some awkwardness. And in terms of the smuttiness it's pretty top notch, Undyne's POV is always refreshing in these types of stories.

I don't know, if you look at the writefag's stories as a whole she tends to flesh out a character in pretty good detail and then stick to it, which is good I suppose for actual writing but not so good for lewds. I think that's why that last mmf threesome one didn't turn out so well, it's cause she was struggling with how to make the second-person character and Undyne fit that into their personalities, if I had to guess. I mean, kudos to her for still doing it, and the actual lewd part was still good, but the build-up wasn't, her heart wasn't in it and you could tell.

I feel like she isn't going to want to do that with the squid girl (what was her name? Octavia i think) since her main character trait has been her being in awe of Undyne and that seems like it would lend itself more to a submissive personality than a dominant one.

If you read closely, actually, she does do that in that story, there's even a part where she cleans off Octavia's tentacle afterward with her mouth. I was kind of surprised at how downplayed it was but when I went back and read it again I thought that was a good idea, like it was showing how this wasn't anything out of the ordinary for them, that it was just natural. So the real question is whether she did that on purpose or not I guess.

That's a decent analysis, I think. I've been approaching this much more as a traditional story or series of stories rather than normal fanfiction, I think. I think what you gain in character is worth what you might lose in lewdness. And you're right about that last story, I was really struggling with it because it didn't feel like it fit with either of their characters.

In regards to Octavia my problem would be less Octavia being dominant and more Undyne having to be submissive. I think that the only way it makes sense for her to do that is if it's with someone she's very intimate and trusting with, so the trouble there is that I'd need to work in a lot of character development, at least for my own sake, which I could see some people not liking. If I did do something like that I think it'd be best as a longer story, which unfortunately I don't really have the energy to do for the time being.

Also, has anyone been sharing my stories anywhere? I got about 200 views so far today which is way higher than usual.

What I mean is basically the difference between literary fiction and genre fiction. In genre fiction, stuff like pulp novels like Clive Cussler or whatever, the story is plot-driven and the focus is less on the characters. In literary fiction it's the reverse, the focus is on the characters and they're the ones pushing the plot forward. All the stories I've been writing are pretty literary in that regard, while there's an element of plot, obviously, since it's a different scenario every time, I put a lot more emphasis on characterization. I could just write porn, you know, I could just leap right into the sex scene every time or whatever, but I don't find that very enjoyable. What I like is that pretty much all of my stories are related, there's a clear line of events that you can follow through them, and you can watch the characters grow and change as they meet new ones, have new encounters, and do new things.

Obviously it's not high literature or anything but I get the sense it's a lot more developed in that regard than most fanfiction is. If I was going to do the opposite I think the characters would feel a lot more lifeless and a lot more like how they act in Undertale because without my having done all that work beforehand, all I would have to fall back on is their canon personalities and traits and so on.

This all ties back into the reason that that mmf story I wrote felt weird, because that one was much less character-driven than all the others, and it felt phony because I couldn't come up with a real good reason for any of it to be happening and when that happens, character falls by the wayside and you've just got little dolls screwing each other.
