Well, when you're right, you're right. It's a complicated problem though. Caused by many small things like the angle of several small lines. I think this fixes some of it.

I'm not too experienced with drawing stomachs but I KIND of know how it should be and I can try to imitate it.

It's really nothing to talk about, it's not like it's an inconvenience to me or anything. I love writing but I have a hard time coming up with good ideas, so here it's kind of the best of both worlds. I can write so quickly because I already have my style and voice all figured out and it's essentially just a matter of finding the best way to tell the story, which doesn't take a whole lot of time. I know basically what I'm going to write, in broad terms, within a couple seconds of seeing a request, and then I can fill in the details as I go. People seem to make a big deal about my attention to detail but really almost none of it is planned out, it's just what occurs to me as I'm writing.

I doubt I'll get tired of writing about Undyne, at least not for a long time. I really enjoy the character and I like being able to come back and fit in an episode whenever and wherever people want without having to really worry about continuity or a plot or anything.

Speaking of which, I'm still around tonight, so let me know if there are any other stories you guys want.

I mean, probably the same things you like about her? I've always really adored strong female characters that don't go overboard with it and since there's so much just like left out about Undyne in the game, it's really fun exploring her and fleshing her out into a living breathing character. I've said all this before at some point, I think. Anyway, another part is that the whole 'second-person self-insert boyfriend' thing is also pretty helpful cause it lets me practice writing from a male point of view, which I think I've always been good at but it's not really my 'default,' I guess, since even though it's second person the 'you' in the stories is very much his own character too, just a less rigidly defined one than Undyne.

Writing Undyne is fun too since I've always sort of played a similar role in my personal life so it feels very intimate and personal to be able to write a character that's so similar to myself, and it's nice to be able to turn around and write with the sort of passive, feminine, receiving character that the 'you' has turned into, since that's not something I get to experience as often. It's just a very enjoyable experience on all fronts, honestly.

I always have trouble thinking of situations to ask for. What about the course of events when Undyne first sets foot on the surface? I think she runs off after Papyrus or something.

I don't know, I think the main reason that I don't like tackling big stuff like that is because those are significant events for Undyne and I'd prefer not to explore them without having done my preparation and my homework so that I don't end up writing something uninformed and inane and get people upset. It's a lot easier to write about really nebulous, inconsequential stuff like her boyfriend or her high school days or whatever since nobody really cares but I feel like there'd be a lot of backlash if I did something that truly mattered to her character.

So, in the meantime, I think I'll just relax and do the one where she stops a mugging. Unless you're really averse to it, I think I'll do it from Undyne's perspective since I haven't done that in a while.

Damn, I for one really liked it. I like how much stuff you fit in there--the reader insert and Brill and Undyne's feelings about her armor and her old life and stuff. It started out very energetic and positive and I thought the shift to melancholy was really well done.

Thanks, I'm glad you guys liked it. I find I really worry about how I do Undyne when I'm writing as her, I think there's a very fine balance to strike between having her be cool and having her have those pauses and cut-offs and things, how she berates herself and so on. I think it would be very easy to overdo it. She's a lot of fun to write, though, but I want to make sure it's still Undyne and that she's still enjoyable to read.

I mean, as far as I'm concerned it pretty much ticks all the boxes, and well, too. Take my opinion with a grain of salt, because I like that the guy is usually fairly submissive (at least in the ones that have stuck in my mind).

I'm not like an expert erotica writer or anything (or even an expert writer), but you don't really hit the stumbling blocks that I've noticed in other smut. Like, you don't suddenly throw super weird synonyms for "cock" in there or any of that shit, there's no excessively flowery Harlequin romance-type language, etc. It's just a believable story that turns into believable fucking. It doesn't read like "and here's where the author wrote one-handed," it reliably stays in the appropriate character perspective, if that makes sense.

Plus there usually isn't exclusive focus on either Undyne or the male, so I think that the balance helps avoid anything that would jar the reader out of the zone.

I imagine the New Year's Special being sappy has something to do with it, we did read it on New Years after all. I think it was a cute story where the plot and conflict was contained within Undyne and her BF. It may not have been the most interesting story for that reason, but between its length, lewdness at times, and softhearted interactions with Undyne and her BF it made for a cute and comfy story to read.

Well, I'm glad you guys liked it. I agree, I think looking back on it it did more world-building than anything else but I guess that's necessary at points. Something I was planning on doing at some point, once I have enough stories written, is putting them all together into a .pdf, nicely formatted and everything, with pic related as the cover.

Also regarding the prom one, I have fun writing almost all of these stories. That one was more to feel out peoples' reaction to my usual writing style and see what people thought, which was pretty positive. I think the two most surprising things about my stories are how much people like Brill and how much people like my first-person Undyne stuff. I guess I wasn't expecting Brill to catch on since she's not an Undertale character and I went very vanilla with her initially, and as for the first-person stuff, I didn't think people would like how vulnerable I was making her.

It's the latter. It takes time for a character to grow on me. Heck, it took months after playing Undertale to realize "hey, I really like Undyne!"

Though as far as it stands Brill is fine. I can't wait to see more of her.

I really like what you did with Brill there actually, it feels like you're using her to showcase Undyne's sort of protective, gentle, maternal side. Reading this it felt like she was just playing with Brill, like a lioness with her cub, I think that's even why you put that in there. I also liked how it focused more on Undyne than it did on Brill, even though it was supposedly about Brill. It didn't feel like she got left out, though. Overall I just enjoyed it, good work.

Writing lesbian lewds works for (most) guys too. The thing is most guys don't know how to write from a female viewpoint in lewds. They can imagine it and imitate some of it but it doesn't feel genuine in most cases.
