Hey PseudoFox, I just finished reading your story "Booze With The Bunny: The Sequel" and I wanted to share some feedback. Actually I finished it last thread, but I wanted to reshill.

First, it seems like Nick is reluctant to carry drunk-ass Judy at first, but it doesn't seem obvious why. Does he not want to get puked on? is it that he doesn't want to get too physically close while he feels emotionally distant? If he was wanting to avoid getting puked on, maybe carry her facing forward instead of with her head over his shoulder?

Second, when they're walking down the street and you make a point of saying how it's unnaturally deserted, but then don't make that relevant to any of the story? Chekov's Gun. I would baybe axe it, or say instead that there are only a few people, the regular late night quiet street foot traffic.

Third thing, it seems a bit weird for Nick to use his tail to hit the elevator button. They're not really supposed to be prehensile, at least not to that degree. Maybe he bumps it with a knee or elbow instead?

I mostly do the historical comparison to both bring up that certain historical figure and draw given character in historical setting. I pair them based on similarities in personality,looks or some other thing they have in common.
With Machiavelli, I think he looks similar to Marty and I can imagine Marty would probably look up to someone like him and compare himself to him.

And when I will run out of ideas for comprison I will just do a "dress-up" of those characters. Like I did with Hugh.
Or other rendition of historical figures, like I plan to do with King John.

You just put your finger on one of the major things that bugs me about the furry fandom - it's TOO inclusive.
When anything goes, you get extreme edge cases that REALLY represent the fandom badly.
There's gotta be limits - a point past which you say, "They're not with us."
Furry Fandom's really, REALLY bad about this.
Zootopia's also a pretty good example of the other end of the spectrum - there's limits in the world (no humans, no domestics, etc) that actually help not only flesh it out, but keep a lot of those edge cases away.
