Writeanonwrite here. Not dead just extremely lazy. The drive I had to write Linc has somewhat gone away. I don't think the story will stay dead forever, I'll write an update to it eventually it's just for now I'm not too excited to start writing the next update as I once was. Because of that I see the story ending with 3-5 updates, not just because my motivation to write it is fading but because it's gone on way too long, almost half a year. Not to mention once Linc is finished I can start focusing 100% on other stuff, like maybe a Perfect Husband 2 or more Unexpected. So all in all, I'm not dead and I will get back to writing.
