Come on now, don't generalize this. Chumpy is only human too, that means he makes mistakes just like everyone else. His prediction of the board dying was super wrong and he wasn't always nice, but he still did devote a great portion of his time to these threads and also encouraged artists around him.

Different anon here. Just wanted to give my two cents on the matter once, and leave this discussion.

Most of the general were friendly and on good matters with Chumpy, even wishing him luck when he left to train in the Coast Guard.

It really sucked when he came back, largely stuck with the discord, and seemed to be bitter and maudlin all the time.

Then he essentially called the general a dead fandom and acted like his leaving was the final blow against it, only to come back several months later like nothing happened.

I want to like Chumpy again, and am totally willing to overlook his ego and all that shit, really I do. But the fact is that I don't think he's ever owned up to his mistakes, or apologized for treating most of the thread like shit.

Is that too much to ask for? For Chumpy to act least act like he's sorry for the drama?

I feel comfortable enough to talk to new people face to face, but talking to strangers online seems weird to me.
