Its early morning, usually. At least in the states. We're pretty good about keeping it alive late night, but if it slides off it's always in the morning. A bump at 10:00 GMT is usually good til 13:00 or so, but the entire board cycles the full list of threads between 13:00 and 15:00. If it doesn't get a bump in that timespan it's dead. I tend to wake up intermittently and got into the habit of throwing out a half-asleep bump every time I wake up, which helps a bit. It's by no means reliable, though, as the dead threads indicate. If we've got any euro anons they'd be better suited to covering that timeslot than most of us here.

I doubt inflatechan will be back for a long while. Captainstupid's. the owner of inflatechan, DA has been inactive. His last journal post and inflatechan update was June 26, 2016.

It's like skype, but better. It's more geared towards gamers but, as a whole, it's a lot more useful. You can use in a browser or download the desktop program. Pretty big improvement between the two stories. Particularly in the vocabulary department. The older story felt like it was repeating itself a lot in the descriptions. I do have a few pointers for the future.

First, present tense for the narrative reads strangely if the viewpoint is third person. Most writers will use past tense in that situation. First person works well in present tense, and second person can also manage. Third just sounds weird. Think about other books or green you've read and you'll find most were in past tense.

Second, I've found I write way better with a thesaurus open in another window. It helps a lot with getting the descriptions exactly how you want them.

As for the tenses, it's better to stick with one. I see your point that some tenses work better with other perspectives. It's a common mistake considering people tend to put all of the tenses in their writing because it sounded fine in their head at first. Is it that big of a deal? Not really since it's often skimmed over by most readers. Still, I will take that into account with the short I am doing.
Usually I have my friend check over my writing, bit by bit, and point out any tense, spelling, or grammar mistakes.
Either way, I am just happy to have the urge to write again. There's been a lack of pony blimp stuff and someone has to supply content for it.

Fun can be a matter of perspective. Just a week later and Pinkie looks like she's having a blast. Incidentally, so does Gilda.
