Some time had passed, including the events that lead to the Moon Theater rising like a phoenix from the flames. Is it even worth it to see this in theaters? Or should I wait until blu-ray torrent and get piss drunk to watch it?

I saw the trailer for it when I went to see Moana, and wasn't really impressed at all. It just seemed like a Zootopia clone but with way more childish humor, "lel funee animal traits!" antics, and pop culture references. On top of it just being a CGI version of America's Got Talent.

I kinda want to see it, but it really doesn't look good.

It has: tip top notch dialog. There is a lot of times where you would think they would act cartoony and corresponding to their stereotype, but they act relatable and how would some people actually act (the only exception being the running joke characters, the ape dad, and oddly enough the protagonist). And most of the movie is actually jus them hanging around and doing their thing.

The dialog is so fucking good. The rest ranges from meh, to incompetent. Outside of the interaction of the characters, there is nothing I could call good. The plot itself is cliche, the soundtrack you have heard 100000 times, the animation is under the usual benchmark of quality (even for that studio), the character design and setting are too plain ( don't expect it to look good outside the songs).

Despite all that, the characters are surprisingly human and that is what holds the movie and overshadowed (mostly) the other defects. I may even see it again. I'm not even a fur fag, I'm a d/ic/k that really liked the movie and came here to talk about it.

Go for it sober, there is 30% chance that you will really really like it, the other % is a probability that you will cringe at the lack of polishment of the movie.

I think it is legitimately good because the elements that were put in the story were good, and at the end, the story is what matters the most, isn't it?

PS: don't trust the publicity. Is god fucking awful

The main character is surprisingly dull and boring. The only times it has some good spotlight is (surprise) during the interaction with other characters. (Mostly with his secretary and his sheep bro).

The hedgehog is antagonist, but she has great development. So yeah. If you go for her, you will be pleasently surprised.
