Why the fuck would the mammals in the world of Zootopia have folktales about humans? What would spark their creativity to create them? Semi-hairless creatures, not taller or bigger than many species, no claws, fangs, spines, tail, anything. Yet we're angels?!

What creatures do we make in folklore? Werewolves, chupacabra, yetis, centaurs, they're pretty much all just animal/human hybrids. So why would that not be the same in the world of Zootopia? Werebuns like the fic MisterEAnon wrote, hypnotic lizards who suck blood from fish or eat insects from farms or whatever, giant woolly tundra versions of predators from other biomes, half-half whatever mammal combinations. Again, confession time: Back when I was into MLP (yes, I know, but let me finish), I was into reading fics and I'd usually try to look out for HiE fics that WEREN'T shittily written on a technical and grammatical scale.

I can't tell you how many fucking times they went into "humanity fucking sucks, ponies are superior" bullshit. There was one where a human (who of course was a privileged, upper middle class white boy) who was summoned by their rulers to serve as an ambassador for humanity, yet did jack shit in that regard and actually went out of his way to paint humans as the most shit things ever.

Let alone the one where a self confessed mother's basement dwelling manchild who had no real life experience got sucked to ponyland, and he essentially talked his way into giving out war advice to stop humans despite the fact they actually wanted to meet said humans. At least until it turned into "Let's turn everyone into those alicorn ponies".

Yes, there was a discussion some time ago on how the folklore in Zootopia should be.
For example kelpies should be somewhat the equine equivalent of mermaids.
I 've actually used some part of it for a TT piece, seeing the kitsune as a somewhat enlightened/saint Hipponese equivalent for foxes.

I made that image and some more comparison with similar shots and I can say that the error on Gideon's height should not be higher than a few centimetres/a inch
