Well Charles IV was a beloved Bohemian king, known for his benevolent and prosperous reign. Also for his loving relationships with all four wives he had. The original painting is also one of the few medieval depictions that show some sincere affection, that I know of.

On a serious note, I think it is perfectly fine that Judy doesn't say she loves Nick. Love isn't really something you can just feel, so why say she loves Nick if she actually doesn't? Grateful he is willing to help, be amazed at his selflessness, but love is a fickle thing.

My main issue with the comic has always been Judy's initial bitchiness and the drag on Nick's devotion to Judy. Judy hitting Nick isn't funny, it automatically leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and makes me feel less sorry for her sadness. Yeah it sucks Jack left her but christ don't take it out on your best friend. Not even the fact that said friend romantically loves you, but you don't do shit like that to your best friend. Then, at least in the fic, of Nick going on about how he always "had a thing for her". When your friend just had kids and is faced with being a single parent, you on't go confessing your feelings at that moment.

Considering that the comic is 25/26, I am really hoping that this comic doesn't end with the whole "I want to be their dad." "Ok thanks."
It would be much better if this comic was, as it has been so far, basically Nick helping Judy pick herself back up and telling her "You will be a wonderful mother, and I am here for you."

Probably. Considering that the beginning of the comic mirrors the fic almost exactly, I think the idea for change came up right before Nick sees the kits.
A better title would have been something like "True Friendship" or "Getting back up" or something along those lines. Something relating to Nick helping Judy see that, if she could be a buny cop and inspire him, then she would be a wonderful single mother.

It isn't even about love at this point; true love doesn't have to be romantic but what love is there in this comic? If it was a comic about two friends fighting against the world for each other, ok, that could be true (platonic) love. Two people who consider each other siblings. But this is a comic where one friend tells the other "Hey, I know you are strong. You helped me see I could be a better person, so I know you can do this."

It's why I don't take requests. One request can take me from 30 minutes hour to 2 hours depending on the complexity or how comfortable i am with drawing something.

I mean I can take request but I feel awful turning something in and the guy that requested something has already left. That's why I'm working to have better sketchwork so I can just clean that up instead of moving onto lining which takes me forever to get right. I always feel my sketch work looks better than my lined work anyway

I have the exact same problem, last time I took eleven requests, finished em a week later and posted them all at once. Most of them were never claimed by the original requester so I have no idea if they saw them or not.

I think Mead takes requests and then posts them a couple days later, so don't feel bad about not being super fast. And don't worry about doing requests that are more sketch like, I think most anons will appreciate anything you draw for them
