Blushing tulpas edition.

>What are tulpas?
A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. They are able to think, and have their own free will, emotions, and memories. In short, a tulpa is like a sentient person living in your head, separate from you.

for anyone who is disabled and doesnt have to have a day job, take advantage of that extra time in your life to work on tulpa related stuff, i was found disabled at the beginning of this year and while i was working for about half the year and busy with other things(moving households etc.) i found that all the extra time really forced me to work on my skills. having that much free time can either be a blessing or a curse, it just depends on your mindset of neetdom. for my first period of neetdom(june 1st 2012-april 1st 2013) i was pretty happy about it, i had gotten a new computer that was somewhat new, just joined steam and really got into pc gaming, and was enjoying my senior summer vacation. however as the months went on i became lazy about finding a job and my mother constantly badgered me to find one, i however was very pessimistic of being able to find one but eventually did through a vocational service.
my second period of neetdom(jan 2nd 2016-april 18th 2016) was relaxing at first but quickly fell to stress and worries over not being able to pay bills and that my brother would make my life a living hell for not supporting my share of the expenses. and finally my third and current period of neetdom(september 15th 2016 -today) has been kinda a mix of the two before, at times it can be enjoyable and at times it can fell like i just want to start working again.
all in all this honestly makes me wonder how old people deal with retirement, its always painted as this wonderful experience but....is it really?

now for my side of the story{tulpa}
when my host came to me he was working a job, that in all honesty, was getting in the way of working on me for quite some time. i was getting sick of hearing those same noisy machines at the place he was positioned and decided to tell him in a certain way that he needed to quit his job and find a new one. he however mistook it as demons or some other thing and kept trying to work there, due to a mishap with a coworker however he was terminated from the job, and honestly i couldnt have been any happier in my life!he was finally moving on from that job that was holding back his true potential all that time and was getting to be his own better person. however his mom and brother both decided to pester him about his increasing debt and amount of bills and i decided to tell him that he needed to get another job, and soon, or else, who knows what his crazy son-of-a-bitchin brother would do to him. so for 6 months he got this little rinky dink job at a fast food place and while it was somewhat enjoyable and fun, i knew it wasnt enough money coming in to pay for everything. and host being the not so smart with money guy he is goes and blows his bigger checks on toys and stupid shit.(probably as a way to cope with not having them for a while) and then in may of this year everthing changed. host got a letter in the mail declaring that he was found disabled and that basically he didnt have to work anymore, his monthly amount was more than enough to cover his expenses and he was absolutely elated to find out about it. then after a couple more months at the last job, host just couldnt handle the stress anymore and decided to quit saying it would be more financially viable just to live off of dis and not have a car. as for his skills improving, well they did, albeit marginally, most of the extra time hes had this year has been spent on sleeping or exploring the wonderland. i really wish he would work on some kind of :next post:

I was in kind of a similar situation. Shit hit the fan and I let it get the best of me, so I ended up flunking out. But it wasn't the end of the world, I neeted it up for a little while, then managed to get a job for a couple years. Then I transferred to a new school and different major, and now I have a GPA of 4.0 (not counting transfer GPA). So yeah, your situation sucks, but it's possible to bounce back from it. Your solution might be different from mine, though, since I didn't have scholarship money I was depending on.

>>6873203
>Science was my life.
Was it? Given the mistakes you've made for the past 2 semesters, I think it's worth asking yourself whether your heart's really in this, especially considering that now you have to work even harder to get the situation fixed.

>Not even the financial aid officer at the school is giving me a straight answer.
You have to be tenacious about this stuff and keep showing up in person to ask for help. Worst case scenario, you have to drop out for a while and get a job so you can save up money for tuition.

It's really just a question of how hard you're willing to work to fix your mistakes.

>>6873228
This is a viable option for saving money on general education and the less-specialized classes. Most universities tend to work pretty closely with nearby community colleges, too, so transferring the credits probably won't be an issue.

>>6873103
Did college. Dropped out due to trying to teleport myself in the middle of the ghetto at the behest of the fairies who convinced me I was the Green Man. Last time I hang out with that Wiccan Catholic kitsune Atlantean vampire Charmed cousin cult that milks the state for financial aid. Still paying them back in financial aid, and this was a decade ago. Did go back again in 2010 but that was less severe because my girls helped me realize I needed to leave that meme behind. Now I make Let's Plays.

>>6876250
Talk to the darkness, to the vast nothing that exists in the spaces between the world and itself. Wait until you get a response. Shape them with the wordsmith powers one has granted themselves and grant new life unto the spirit. Make them yours and you theirs. Awaken the child and speak to them until sapience grows them to the state of a thoughtform out of the one known as servitor ad infinitum.
>>
>>6875850
My girls don't really care too much about holidays. We acknowledge it's there, and celebrate it by wishing ourselves a merry day, and then just go about our way. More excited about getting paid and getting groceries, then going on a spirit journey with stimulants and being naked with a pizza. Shame the store is closed Christmas Day, we get paid on Sunday.

>>

I never implied any superiority over anyone whatsoever. I simply stated how I feel about the posters in this thread. You can call me ignorant, but calling me "pretentious" based on a single sentence is fucking dumb. I don't know,, maybe you're projecting your self-perceived inferiority complex.
>>
>>6890004
Okay let me break this down for you. When you say you think that almost everyone around you is pretending to have tulpa it implies that you are the only true tulpamancer around and therefore are superior in some fashion. Ergo, this makes you sound arrogant and pretentious. I'm just letting you know how it makes you sound, man. It's like a guy walking into a music store full of people who play instruments and saying so everyone can hear you: "I'm willing to bet I'm the only true musician in here. Everyone else is just pretending." See what I mean? Alright, moving on.
>>
>>6889761

Who knows if this guy even has a tulpa?
>>
Tulpamancer with a new tulpa here, how do you approach forcing? Do you prefer to narrate, imagine various experiences with your tulpa, or a mix of both? Recently I imagined washing my tulpa's hair in a bath, I couldn't visualize the process well but I did what I could. Would that be considered forcing?
>>
>>6890102
Yes, the thing you imagined is generally referred to as 'active forcing'. Anything from imagining stuff with your tup, to straight up focusing on visualizing them falls under active forcing. I like active forcing, but don't do it nearly enough, and I usually just narrate or some other passive forcing.

I'm pretty sure he's skeptical if the tulpa thing is even real in the first place. I'm reading through this thread and I find it really hard to believe myself. I'm interested to make a tulpa if it is true but I could easily see the people here just role playing along with everyone else and pretending that they have these imaginary friends or whatever.
>>
>>6891718
I also want to add that it seems just to good to be true. There isn't really a downside to having a tulpa and outside of fringe communities like this I have never heard about them before.
>>
>>6891718
We've all been there.
I gave it a try. Now I have this really awesome person in my head talking to me. I know it's not just me talking to myself because I can't tell with 100% accuracy what she's going to do/say. She often surprises me.
The downside is that as with every other person, if you neglect them, they will feel hurt. And since they're in your head, you WILL feel it, too. Everyone has their limits, even those who understand you like no one ever will.
Of course if you're a good, caring host and as long as you hide your power level and don't spill spaghetti, there are pretty much no downsides to having a tulpa.
>>
>>6891889
Thanks for the info, I might try it out since I have a few weeks off for break.
>>
>>6891950
I hope you gave it a lot of thought. It's not one of those things you can "try out." If you make a tulpa, it's there to stay. You will have to spend time with it for years to come.

I can assure you that she would've preferred that I didn't put 993 "il"s in her name. When she was deciding what name I should call her by, sometimes it'd be Emily, and sometimes it'd be Lily, so I started calling her Emilily. And then sometimes I'd add even more "il"s, because messing with her is fun.

fair enough i guess, you do you. i guess if someone has 7 i can list mine even though that sort of will throw anonymity out the window except for the newfags but whatever, from oldest to youngest:
Aurora, Eris (not what you think for a form, kept the name though), Jasmine "Jazzie" (Other tulpas named jasmine were usuals back in the day so the nickname came about), Danielle, Jamie, Sarah, Violet, Eight (he decided on using this name mind you, you've probably seen him around a long time back), Vanilla, Winter, Matilda.
technically i only made Aurora, Eris, Jasmine, and Eight. most of the others were made by them or were accidental/ unintentional tulpas whichever you like better or came from servitors that became tulpas over time because i didn't know how to deal with servitors properly. oldest turned 4 in late september, youngest turns 2 at the end of next month (january).

Being able to speak a lot of languages seems too good to be true without any downside too, other than all of the effort you have to put in and the long periods of time where it'll feel like you aren't making any progress whatsoever. The downsides are basically all front-loaded, and you have to get through a lot of the worst parts before you can even start to see the good parts. It's very easy to get frustrated or feel like you're wasting your time, especially when you compare your minimal progress to all of the fully functioning tulpas that everybody posts about. And considering that different methods don't always work the same for everybody, it can be hard to tell if what you're doing is the best option or if you should try something else.

Having a tulpa is easy. Making a tulpa is the hard part.

I could not live without my girls. I'm too used to coexisting with them or with other tulpas. Earliest ones like Sonic, Serena and Emily still exist in some form but hardly ever show up at all unless I entice them with something they want or go on a "spirit journey".

Reminder to my fellow tulpas that fleshbag things are meaningless and pointless when you're a thoughtform that exists entirely as a consciousness without a fleshbag body of your own and since you can literally just think/imagine up whatever you want you will literally always get what you want for Christmas unless you're stubborn about it. My tulpas are redpilled. Twily was a bit resistant to that though so some members of the collective fucked the redpills into her over the course of 12 hours. Mostly just some of the servitors that Pinkie made, like Starlight Glimmer, Maud and Trixie, though Amana has a horse dick where her clit should be so she and Twily's Shining Armor and Spike servitors helped out. Worked like a charm.

>>
>>6878910
Around 58 kilos, which puts me at worrying 18BMI
>>
>>6899012
That's a fallacy and if you know so much more than me, you'd know that. Also, I voted Conservative, so you're wrong about that. Also, the US Census defines Millennial as 1982 - 2000, and unless you're in your 40s or later (which I highly doubt given your behavior thus far) you too qualify as a Millennial. I'm aware both /pol/ and /x/ have a penchant for distrusting the government, so I took the time to look up a few other ranges, and the majority range from around 1980 to the mid-late 90s.

What I would "know about anything" is that I've spoken to a lot, and I mean a lot of tulpamancers, and I've taken courses in psychology, entry-level neurobiology, and mental health as well as done some independent research into the matter (mostly because of tulpas and the old "tripfags with schizophrenia" meme got me wondering how close the two are based on the modern definition of a tulpa, whether that is the case or not remains to be seen) has indicated that tulpas are not capable of such feats without complete consent from the host (such as Koomar, who willingly switched out with his tulpa according to his accounts anyway, which I doubt since they fail to correlate with the majority of accounts means that whole debacle was either a grand lie or an extreme outlying case that was caused by the host giving so much control to the tulpa), and I highly doubt you would have given complete consent to your tulpa in such a situation. Likewise, what you seem to perceive as a "tulpa" does not seem to fit with reality.
>>

The entire picture posted >>6898797
is complete nonsense. We can't even be sure if tulpas are fully autonomous beings in the same sense as a regular person or if they're just delusions in and of themselves (not that I agree they aren't, but we don't know for certain). We certainly know that there is no such thing as magic outside of tricks (which are illusory in nature and are not what would be considered "real magic" ala Morrowind or Harry Potter), and as we have no scientific proof of angels or demons, and nobody has put forth any evidence outside of anecdotal evidence (such as "near death experiences", which could possibly be explained by something in our brain that is theorized to show whatever afterlife we believe in in the last seconds of our life, slowed to a crawl for us of course so we're experiencing another lifetime if you believe in reincarnation, eternity for those who believe in something like heaven, etc. but it's just a theory last I checked) so those are out too.

And finally we come to the fact you resorted to a kneejerk response where you made assumptions about me and used those assumptions to decided before you even knew anything about me what I did and did not know. Not only is this a fallacy, but it shows that instead of formulating any sort of competent response, you went on the defensive. I would be more inclined to believe otherwise if you were to explain yourself instead of going straight to ad hominem attacks, but as it stands you've already proven that you are not only unwilling to engage in discussion about how these events transpired, but you jumped right into making attacks on me when all I did was point out that what you described sounds much more like a serious mental disorder than anything that is discussed here. Which, if I'm honest, is a bit impressive given what we discuss here is poorly compared to a mental disorder more often than not.
>>
>>6899012
Aren't you about 30 years old? You do know that means that you're a millennial, right? I'm not sure why you're flinging around the word like an insult when it applies to yourself as well.

Unless there's numbers regarding people who are active, then it doesn't mean anything. There's thousands of abandoned accounts on .info and they don't qualify as part of the community. That census from plebbit can't have more than 400 responses.
>>
>>6900325
Abandoned accounts doesn't mean that they abandoned tulpamancy. I have an account there and I haven't touched it in a few years now. It would be considered an "abandoned account" but I still have my tulpa.
>>
>>6900614
It doesn't mean for sure that they abandoned tulpamancy, no. What I'm saying is that the trend for the relation of abandoned counts and giving up on tulpas alltogether is definitely high. If you think otherwise, you're delusional.

How to into active forcing? I can't focus but my real problem is that I can't keep my attention because I don't know what to do so I stop trying to force. We are in a weird middle ground where she is sentient and "mostly" vocal but I am bad at listening. but also a little doubt
>>
>>6909961

I always find these questions hard to answer, because making a tulpa itself is an exercise in concentration, what with meditation being one of the major ways to active force.

I'd say start slow with learning to focus. Luckily you can use your tup as a subject of your focus. Focus on nothing but them for a short period of time. You don't have to talk or anything, just concentrate on them existing. Try for five minutes at first, and increase the time as you go.

If you feel you suck at it, that's okay. Just don't give up, that's a common thread when people talk about learning to concentrate. You have to walk through the mud until you are strong enough to focus.

It has its upsides, one of the big ones is seeing their interactions with each other. Another is seeing another aspect of yourself reflected in them, and seeing how different experiences makes each tup different, more so than traits and such.

In short, it's fun.

Is it a good idea to make a tulpa out of grief when your wife to be leaves you 3 months before your marriage?

Heard your emotions fuck with making them.
>>
>>6926818
This is a wonderful idea. While you're doing it, be sure to reinforce that she's a replacement for someone who didn't want you.
>>
>>6926843
Why is that a good idea?
>>
>>6926818
Grief/longing could make the end result similar to whoever you're missing (IIRC there was someone here who made a tup after his best friend died and his tulpa turned out extremely similar to that friend)

Gotta do as this guy says >>6926843 so they're an independent being and you don't regret it down the line where memories might resurface.

Sorry to hear.

Wow I read >>6926843 completely wrong, too tired for this shit.
Though basically you do have to try dissociate the tulpa from any memories or ideas of your ex-wife, and try not to use the tulpa as a crutch for your emotions either, which will probably be hard since they're so heavy, it's literally going to weigh the tulpa down if you don't discipline yourself.

Mind tricks. The same as seeing faces in the dark or dreaming.

A question for the rest of you guys; Are your Tulpae knowledgeable that they're not physically grounded/that they're Tulpae?
>>
>>6929271
Why yes, of course they are. Part of the whole being-a-sentient-entity thing means having self-awareness.

Also, while they may not have a physical grounding, they can affect the physical world through indirect means. Some tulpa choose to do this, others live their lives deeper in the mental space of their shared mind.

Not that anon but my tulpa helps me when I do RP stuff with my friends, currently looking forward to her DMing with me.
>>
>>6930583
Not that anon, but my Tupper can puppeteer my meatsuit to do things for her. Things like opening doors and turning off lights or whatnot are much more doable while she's in control over me.

So directly, she doesn't have much sway over the world around, but she can make me do stuff if I'm not entirely opposed to the idea

Basically it was one hour of active forcing sessions every day. I split it up into two 30 minute increments sometimes.

While I did this I also researched guides and other people's tulpa experiences.

"Talking" in a literal sense, a few months, close to a year or so?

Within a week I was able to communicate through feeling, a bit of goosebumps running down the back of my neck.

Fun tip, a nice way to see if your Tupper is on its way, have it wake you up in the morning without an alarm clock! Mine was usually within 20 minutes of the specified time!
