Not him, but I'm of the belief that if you put up a creative work for the public to see, then it's open season for criticism, regardless of how harsh it is (to a point of course). Sure the creator can argue against the criticism and give reasons for why he or she disagrees with it, but outright discounting someone's critique because you disliked the tone of what was said is just outright pitiful.

Yes, Oddjob is much shorter than all the other characters, and because of how the aiming system works in n64 Goldeneye, you cannot shoot Oddjob without stopping and carefully aiming downward.

That depends on how ancient you wanna go, if (as your pik implies) you aim at the bronze age I would suppose armaments would mostly be handled by the individual soldier and that anything they lack the skill for making they would hire someone to do.
To outfit an army in those times was not only costly but impractical without modern logistics.

So most sodliers took care of their own equipment.

I agree. Like I said before, there's a point where it goes from harsh criticism to an outright attack. I'd say the comment posted here >>6835303 treads the line of this a bit. It's quite harsh, and I can see why someone would see it as an attack. However no one can deny that there is good information in here on how to improve. It's just a shame the writer completely discarded everything that was said.

Also, the comment comes off more as a "reader angry at the story" moreso than "reader angry at the writer." That also makes a big difference in what could be considered too harsh.

Of course, this is just my perspective. I'm well aware others will have different ways of looking at it.

Exactly this. There didn't seem to be any awkward tension between Gideon and the Hopps (aside from maybe Judy a little bit) so it isn't like they are wary of him or tolerate him, they honestly are business partners, maybe even friends. They put what happened at the fair behind them and moved on. So I pisses me off to no end whenever in a fanfic they are instantly hostile towards Nick because he is a fox, when that shouldn't be an issue. Wary because of his background? Sure. Wary because he is a good bit older than their daughter? Why not? But not hostile.

There was one line I was amused by:

I can't get the image out of Judy and her cousin snuggling against Nick for warmth. I wouldn't have minded seeing the cousin expanded out but that might make the whole thing run on longer than needed, so either way. Maybe expand her in some other story if you are given the chance?

I don't know why you'd assume I'm good at in-depth reviews, but okay.

I'll admit my memory's a little hazy since I just woke up, but I remember thinking it was a comfortable and easy-going chapter. We got hints about Remmy and his family, and got a look into Wolt and Annie's past. The conversations felt natural, and Wolt finally got to shine as an individual.

I feel like the twins resonate more when they're on their own, but work fine as a well-oiled machine too. Even then Wolter seems to be more passive, especially in groups of three or more.

I'm sure a lot of what happened in this chapter will be brought up later, and could be interesting to speculate on, but that aside it was just plain good. Just plain comfortable. How well Remmy and Wolter got along really warmed my heart too. It showed that Remmy is sticking to growing as a character. Hell, maybe the two of them could actually be friends. Who knows?

Only on one thing I feel the need to make a point: you said that you don't see a connection between the final story and the ones of Manchas and of the Ottertons.
This is because there is none. When I said all stories are intertwined I never said it was in a nuclear structure.
Sure, the final one connects the most stories, filling the small gaps I left.
But Zootopia is a city. A city is made of interactions, structured like a web.
They can be feeble, like a chauffeur seeing the riots in Pack Street while he drives home, or more powerful, like an arctic shrew with strange hairs giving directions to a couple of country bunnies while she is going to her father's home.
Where did Charlie, a famous pickpocketer, find all that money? Who is the vixen that stole Weaselton's wallet?
As I said when I posted it, the drawing gives a BIG hint. Let's just say the position of the tiles, of the neighbouring tiles AND the names of the streets are not random.
Many times a pic is inspired by a fic and many times a fic is inspired by a pic. I write and draw.
For one time I wanted to make this relation bidirectional.
