I'm not afraid of death, infact I embrace it, what I'm not looking forward to is dying. I've seen enough dying people to know just how unpleasant it always is. Many have their physical power slowly stripped away from them until they can no longer walk without help and have to be committed to a nursing home where they spend their last miserable days neglected by Haitian nurses who hate everything and are always angry. I want to live long so I can (hopefully) accomplish my long term goals and feel a bit better about myself when I am dying. And, you know, maybe help some others along the way.

It's really not fair, nobody is ever asked if they want to be created into this miserable world, then you can't even take matters into your own hands if you're unhappy with life, because killing yourself would severely hurt others and that would be unfair to them.
